Sony Creative Software Vegas Pro 13

Vegas is sooo familiar. It is my workhorse. This version has loudness controls - I have yet to learn how to use it. Overall works well for me. I did not notice much performance improvements when compression is offloaded to my GeForce GTX 680. Can't say much about previews. Too bad really.The GUI shows the signs of aging, especially when compared to the latest DaVinci Resolve. The latter is gorgeous, but the learning curve is still steep.

Get off the fence and get to editing. Great buy for a great NLE software. Have been using Vegas for years. Compared to several other similar programs, it's my favorite. This is a great deal and, even though I was skeptical for the price, it installed without a hitch.

When I paid for shipping and handling I expected to get a physical copy with discs, what I got in the mail was a single piece of paper and told to download over my slow internet. The program is great and works just fine though.

(John is my Dad's name) My parents bought this for me two years ago at Christmas. I kept it one month trying to install it, and it turns out my computer is incompatible. So I contact the seller for a refund, and they're like "We cannot accept this back after one month" and " Why did you wait a month for a refund". Duh! Cause I'm not a computer expert and I was TRYING to INSTALL it on my laptop. I was looking up on Google on how to install it, what was wrong, was I doing something wrong, here let me reset my computer to factory default, I was going ABOVE and BEYOND to install this thing. This software has caused me NOTHING but problems.Then the seller was trying to help me install it. I had already done the steps he told me to do. It wasn't going anywhere, and I just wanted the money back! But he was beating around the bush about it and basically I was getting no refund.So now I am stuck with a useless program that my parents forked out a wad of money for and I STILL have not been able to use it for TWO YEARS. It took me this long to write this review but because I thought I would try again to install it yesterday but nope. Still won't install.If you buy this you better make sure your computer is compatible or you're in it deep or buy yourself a computer that's actually compatible.Would not buy from this seller again!!!!!!

Upgraded to Pro, this software is very intuitive - I have Adobe Premiere which I use as a problem solver, but day-to-day I'd much rather work in this.

Worth every penny. Every time I use it, I learn new attributes. It stills can do more than I know how to do, but I am catching up.

Very easy to learn and use. Lots of functions that you can use for editing your videos. NO annual fee!

Despite it being labelled "pro" it is not professional. Still more of a hobby-ists tool. And like all complex software has it's frustrations, unexpected limitations and learning-curve. Particularly, finding the best rendering option; I have spent many hours trying different options, even downloading an additional H.264 codec (why isn't that there already?!), but have found for my workflow, out-putting as AVCHD the only feasible format. However for most of my edits it performs best of the bunch for value. Having started with Premiere Pro 20 years ago I can hardly recognise the interface workflow in CC version. All Adobe products seem to have got far too complicated trying to be all things to all people over the years and I don't want to shell £50 a month to Adobe for products I may not use full time.

Great piece of software with someone fantastic features.Only downside for me is the constant crashes when trying to render with cuda.After doing some research there seems to be issues with cuda and Nvida cards which Sony are not addressing.

Used this programme before and needed to do some editing for work so got this programme. very happy with the programme and I'm sure if offers a lot more than I need as the moment. Easy to use.

While not the best software out there it does everything I need it to do Does exactly what it says on the box

For my gaming boyfriend he loved this product for his YouTube channel good quality and runs well.
