I haven't chemically tested this but I believe it is excellent based on the results I've seen.Edited: I want to edit that this is really an excellent product. I've been using it for over a year. I mainly use it for ADHD and it is exceptional for that. However, it also is great to shorten the time for a cold.I am waiting for there to be more data about Zinc Citrate and ADD and bedwetting. There is a lot of anecdotal evidence. If you have a child, start with half a tab of this (and never give to a very small child). Be careful with zinc. But it honestly does work for some children.

My only issue is that the pill isn't coated so it starts dissolving in your mouth and can be tougher to swallow.

We use zinc to stop a cold or reduce its length or severity. Natural Factors works the best of the many we've tried, and the 15 mg seems just the right amount and not the excessive amount in many brands (more is NOT better and might have undesirable side effects). I hope they never change this product.
