Set of Three !!!OptoLight Compact Fluorescent 42W Bulb

The light these bulbs emit is outstanding, warm white and definitely equivalent to 150watt incandescent in brightness/luminosity. There is no green tint like you see with most CFL bulbs. I have one of the bulbs in a lamp with a shade that is dark beige, almost light brown, and this does cut the brightness to about half that of the bulbs that are under white or light beige shades. Be aware that These Bulbs Are HUGE! Just over 6.5" long and very wide. They do not fit in the common 10" lamp harp that curves in toward the bottom where the ballast of the bulb is. I had to replace the lamp harps with 10" lamp harps of the old style. The old style shape is more like [ ] than ( ). The wider bottom accommodates the large ballast. You can get these "old school" lamp harps, including finial, for a very good price on ebay. Sorry, I did not find any cost effective harps of this type on Amazon. Also, I doubt that these bulbs will fit in a lamp harp that is smaller than 10". With the "harp issue" resolved the bulbs exceed my expectations. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is because of the harp fitting difficulties and also, they work fine but will they last a long time? This remains to be seen. I will update in the future.

I didn't think these lights were gonna be that good since the price was so cheap. But these lights shine and are not cheaply made. I use them for flowering my plants 😊

Have only used one so far. Works just fine so far. The price is right.
