Good to have on hand.
Actually pretty good taste and quantity. I have several dozen on hand for hard times and will continue to buy them along the way. The expiration date were good and packaging was perfect.

Try it out u won't be disappointed
To be honest I was skeptical about spending the 10 bucks or so on these type of meals because they r pricey but I like to be prepared and like to no my family is gonna be taken care of and the way the world is these days and all the natural disasters and the uncertainty in people in power you never know what's gonna happen these ha e a 25 year shelf life and taste great a must buy for anyone who is preparing or just wants a good meal for the next camping trip i mean it's just super convenient to be honest wither way just add water shake and eat super simple

Reliable trail food
Great for bike trips. A tad salty. One person can finish a 2 person bag, but don't count on immediately jumping back in the saddle and cranking off another 20 or 30 miles. Plan on a little siesta.

One of our favorites! Good flavor and texture - enough for two!
My wife and I really enjoy Mountain House freeze dried meals. We needed items in our emergency supplies that would last more than a few months, and since these have an approximate shelf life of 30 years, we're glad to have them in bulk.We recently went on a camping trip to sample several different popular MH meals, and rated each one.Fettuccini Alfredo rated 8.5 out of 10. Good enough to stand on it's own, but really worked with grated parmesan and fresh cracked pepper. Enough for two.

Great food for backpacking or just a day out.
I love mountain house meals and this meal is no different. I have tried similar products in the past but mountain house has the longest self life as well as by far the better taste. I take these backpacking and out on my boat if I'm going to be out there for the day. You really can't go wrong with these meals.
