Great low carb rice option
Our household eats low carb, but sometimes you want rice and this works perfectly. The consistency is a bit larger than a normal rice kernel and the consistency is a bit different. We love the flavor and the texture and eat it on a regular basis. This item is always in our house.

A HEALTHY CARB SUBSTITUTE
The past three months while my wife and I were on a very caloric-restrictive diet that essentially removed all carbs, iodized salt, and refined sugars, we still ate very well and each lost 25 pounds. My wife substituted this palm rice in her recipes that required rice. It looks and has a very similar texture as cauliflower rice, but not the flavor. So, if you are interested in cutting your carbs with a healthy option, this is legit. It's essentially flavorless (that's why I gave flavor four stars, because it really does not have a flavor), so it takes on whatever seasonings you use to cook your meal.

A healthy alternative
The Palmni hearts of palm products are, in my opinion, an EXCELLENT hi-fiber, low sugar VEGETABLE ALTERNATIVE to pastas. The taste of the hearts of palm is distinctive , so even though the flavor can be made less intense by pre-soaking in lightly-salted water, simmering in broth, etc, the taste of this vegetable itself remains. The consistency is firm, but softens w/simmering in the soup/sauce. The ‘rice’ product was disappointing in that the pieces are chopped resembling barley, rather than rice; so were firmer and larger pieces than expected. Nevertheless, they were fine in the homemade minestrone soup . I definitely recommend trying this product, as it is truly a healthy choice.

Love me some Palmini Rice!!! Works fantastic!!!
This is the bomb!!!!! We LOVE our Palmini rice and use it weekly sometime several times per week. Great value for a specialty food item. Easy to use, just rinse and add to sauce and boom, perfect! Does have a slight smell at first but after adding sauce it is covered up. A little more dense than a normal noodle/rice but nothing that would make you say ew. The sauce blends into the rice unlike miracle noodles/rices which lets your food taste like what it's supposed to taste like. It is a nice choice or low carb and its gluten free which is nice, no stomach pains. Use this like you would for anything needing rice. Many uses. I've used it for tacos, burritos, butter chicken and so much more. Will continue to use these products.

Palmini Rice
Love this as a rice substitute. However, they are very slow to deliver. My last order was canceled by them. I have ordered again and weeks later it still hasn’t shipped. May cancel if not shipped by next week. Order direct from the company.

Palm rice
Very disappointed how I received it!!! They was very dirty looked like brown dirt all over them. Had to rinse them off with water.1 pack was torn so I had to throw it away. This product is good but way to expensive to be throwing one away!! Scared to buy from this person again!!

Works for me
This product is shredded hearts of palm, so it tastes like shredded hearts of palm. I put diced chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes, seasoning etc on it and it tastes just fine to me. If you expect it to taste like rice, you will be disappointed, but it’s a good product. I don’t think you really need to boil it like you do with rice. I put mine in the insta-pot, then keep it in the fridge and it’s the basis for a quick and yummy meal. I love this stuff.

This needs to be mixed with beans
I did not like this rice on its own so it is not good for white rice, however, I put a lot of beans with sauce on top and it was MUCH better that way. This brand of linguine was amazing with my homemade Alfredo sauce. No complaints here
