Indian Cotton Sanganeer Tapestry Spread Coverlet

It is beautiful and impressive which is why I kept searching for other areas of the apartment to use it in, but finally had to admit there was no place for it. The picture I saw which inspired me to place my order had a graduating lavender hue to it. The one shown here is closer to what I got, but still does not show the bright and vivid colors. The background is a deep blue. The little dots in the background are actually very big designs in a bright jade green. There is also a bright gold in the design and a bright purple with more bright jade green in some of the swirls. The design is as shown and very well done. It is gorgeous!! The weight is what you would expect from this type of weaving.I am giving this the lowest rating I can because I want to alert those interested in this product to be aware you might not be getting what you ordered. This is not the first time I have been led astray by a photo showing the wrong color when ordering online. Why this happens is anybody's guess, but it seems like a big waste of time and money for a merchant to have to make exchanges because of the error of not picturing a product accurately.The tapestry is going back. Perhaps someone who wants a bright, bold, gorgeous tapestry in vivid primary colors will read this and find what they are looking for but not from this picture. I was tempted to order another tapestry that looked subtle with a lavender base color but decided not to after the color switch I experienced this time.

I ordered this purple tapestry and it is really nice. It is huge which is awesome because you can either hang it up like on a wall or even use it as a blanket or cover. The only thing is that the colors where slightly different than the picture (a little more pink in the picture than in real life). Other than that I love it and it looks great in my room!

This is lightweight. Not something you would want to keep you warm. I purchased this to hang over a window in my bedroom, which is about 6 foot by 5 foot. I love the look. Not sure what the reviewer who was saying the reindeer on the outer edges looked amateurish is talking about. I don't see any animals on my fabric! It does not keep much light out (hanging over mini blinds). But it does look really pretty with light coming through it. Until I can afford real window drapes, these will do nicely. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase!

I loved the dye which was vibrant and steadfast, but upon close up inspection the designs were amateurish and apparently not well thought out . Kind of a crazy mix of elements and badly drawn reindeer on the outer edges. From afar, ots attractive and covers the wall nicely.

Colors are different, that isn't pink. its purple and a yellowy brown. I still like it just misleading picture.

Happy with coverlet just what I expected. The colors were great and it washed and dried well. Wish more sizes available.

It is exactly how it looks in the picture except more beautiful! The picture doesn't capture the amazing detail in the design. I got it as a gift for a good friend of mine, I know she is going to love it.

I LOVE this tapestry! It's beautiful, and I have it hanging up in my classroom wall to add color to the white walls.You could use it as covering for your bed as well. I highly recommend these tapestries.
