The shipment 'experienced unexpected delays caused by external factors'. When it finally arrived the outer box was smashed and broken. The telescope was set diagonally inside the box. Fortunately it had the internal box (as shown in the picture), however this, as well as the styrofoam packaging, was smashed around the edges, which is unsurprising considering how it was placed in the shipping box. The telescope itself was undamaged, but the mirror seems to be scratched. The telescope is very difficult to point properly as it has no adjustment dials or knobs. Does not work well for astronomy.

It looks like a telescope but this is really just a toy
I purchased this as a prop. It looks like a telescope but this is really just a toy. NOT for the budding astronomer.

Poor optics, let down further by awful quality mouldings.
Oh dear.. this is possibly the biggest 'straight-to-landfill' crime committed by opportunist manufacturers I have witnessed in a long time.We received this as a present for our kids; and the initial excitement (it looks great on the big box with a view of the moon) soon gives way to disappointment. The quality of materials is woeful. The plastic used is generally the cheapest, and weakest; polystyrene. (the stuff that throw-away cutlery is made from..). And after half an hour, one focus wheel had broken off, and two of the three tabs on the tripod clamps had broken. I can't blame the kids; I broke them, without using much force..The optics are poor; difficult to focus, lots of bloom and aberrations; the 'spotter' scope is a joke (what good is it pointing at a completely different planet. If you could see a planet); you'd probably expect that at this price. But for things to break so easily on something designed for kids; that's worse than poor design.. it's deliberate cost cutting, to unload containers of these things from China, badged to various (possibly unwitting) brands and suppliers, not caring they won't last a week. I have seen the identical item under the 'Campri' name for instance. They could've used polypropylene or nylon for the parts requiring strength, at a small extra cost. As it is, this is a complete and utter waste of money, time, and materials.

Not good for astronomy
Not good for astronomy. Very difficult to find any object even the moon. I would recomend the naked eye over this "tool". Save your money buy something that works. You get what you pay for.
