Q: The datasheet says this puts out 48VDC. Is this compatible with 12 V devices, or is another regulator required?

I have run 12VDC IPCams and 12VDC, 18.5VDC and 24VDC Wireless APs, Repeaters and IPCams off this unit, all without regulators. Also, be aware that it will NOT power a full 48VDC - at least my unit won't - because it starts to have issues right around 46.7VDC according to my meter and it has never successfully powered a 48VDC device. Maybe other units are better, but that is my unit and it does what I need, so it doesn't matter to me if it falls short of 48VDC delivery. You should also be sure to check the Amp rating on your targeted device - this unit has a fairly shallow Amp load relative to VDC rating.
