We live very near a river and we have always had rats and they are damaging to property and carry diseases. We installed security cameras and a side perk is that we can watch rat activity. We have tried electric rat traps, regular spring style rat traps, poison and have had no success with that. Just a waste of money and you will have to handle the rat carcass even if you are lucky(lucky ?) This device just tells the dirty rats to go away and it works immediately. I turned it off yesterday to watch what happens. The rats pretended to be the Flying Walindas again all over our fence and house . Than I turned back on the ultra-sound emiter and not one single rat appearance. This is such a clean way to deal with this problem. Just send them to the neighbors house. HA HA You can't kill all the rats in the world anyway.I am going to buy another one. It feels good to win.

I have this device in an open window 5 feet away from my tomato plants. It's been there for two months. Rats are eating my tomatoes green. They do not care about the noise.However the noise bothers my daughter when she comes to visit, so it's not for a lack of noise. The noise just does not bother the rats or any other animals. I have since gone back to setting traps which the rats have been mostly avoiding and am now trying wrapping my tomatoes in copper mesh so that these vermin will hopefully not be able to take one bite out of them. Maybe.....

Not finding anything else that wouldn't potentially harm wildlife we actually like, we gave this repeller a try, and garden rodent damage did seem to stop. Other locals like foxes, coyotes, and birds appeared to be unaffected, so it seemed like it was doing its job as advertised. We still got occasional damage, but not to the level we used to have, and it seemed to be confined to the further reaches of the garden.One year update: The power indicator light was not working, and jiggling the cord made the it flicker, but not stay on. I opened the device up and found the metal surfaces of the circuit board and power port corroded. The seller states this device is usable outdoors under eaves, just not in direct rain. So I installed a purpose-built rain cover, and we've had only four inches of rain in the last twelve months. I think humidity condensing inside the case is the culprit.Overall, I'm pretty disappointed because I thought this would last for years. $50 for just a year's operation is awfully pricey, especially considering inside the plastic case is just a micro circuit board wired to a tiny speaker.

Installed this on October 24, 2017 and it stopped working this morning. I followed the instructions to the letter when I put this in. This is a big piece of junk not to mention a rip off. Buyer beware of this it cost me $44.95 plus shipping and tax's. Never again. Update: I was contacted by the company and offered a replacement unit and a additional device at no cost, these people are serious about customer service. I will up date after arrival of the new unit.

Spent the extra money for this device because it claimed a large area coverage and ease of use. I put in our chicken house (which is wide open) and the rats are unaffected. I guess this now gives them something to listen to while eating the chicken feed. I recommend trying something else.

I've been going out of my mind and spending hundreds of dollars on products that do not work trying to get rid of the rats in my attic and under my house. I finally bought this, and the rats and squirrels vacated about 2 hours after I plugged it in. This thing is the end-all-be-all of rodent control. Not only did the rats and squirrels go away, but I have noticed I have not seen any bugs of any kind in the house or around the front porch. If you have a rodent problem, you would be a fool not to purchase this device.

Best purchase. We had a huge rodent problem at the farm house. Bought this plugged in and not only did it get rid of the rats/mice. We hardly see any spiders or scorpions around the house and none in the house. We purchased two and put one under each end of the house.

This item doesn’t work at all. I really wish it did but we still have the same problem and on top of that it hurts my childrens ears they can’t enter the room that it is in. I’m so disappointed that I waisted $44 that I really couldn’t afford to waist
