Great! It works! I bought it to replace the solar one that came with the TV which was always dead when I wanted to use it.

Great remote! The Samsung remote that came with the tv has a very short range. It was a pain changing channels and volume. This remote lets me control the tv from a much farther distance.

What others are saying about difficulty removing the battery cover is very true. Eventually, using dishwashing gloves did the trick to get a grip fairly easy, but it shouldn't come to that. (it's the design causing the problem, which you'll see once you open it. There's no reason for that many clasps. I put some light grease on each of the clips for easier opening later.) It paired instantly with my Samsung 2024 Q80D. I have more testing to do before deciding to keep it. If the battery cover wasn't such a problem it'd be 5 stars most likely.

Does it’s job… half the time. You have to be pointing directly at the tv and even with that, it sometimes won’t do anything. It was a good temporary replacement for our lost remote

Works great with my Samsung smart TV, however its not pairing with the JBL soundbar. Also only two of the 4 buttons (Netflix and Prime) work.
