Q: As packaged, is this float fairly small and lightweight? Looking for a pool float to pack for a plane trip.

Not crazy small, but definitely lightweight. As packaged, if you don't open it, it might be small enough if you are packing light. You might prefer to get one of the mesh pool floats that only have the inflatable plastic around the edges and for the pillow. They'd take up less space in a suitcase. We have two of the mesh ones and if I had to pack one, it would be the mesh float.

Q: Once fully inflated, how thick is it?

Bout 6"-8" thick when fully inflated.

Q: Will this float hold the air? I bought another one from Intex and it did not stay inflated...

Ours stays inflated. We like it. Just note, the pic shows 2 rafts ... there is actually only 1 included.

Nice size

If everyone reads the description before ordering they would see only one is included in the order, not fair to the company to leave a negative review because people thought two were in the order because two were pictured. The picture just shows the different colors, but it clearly states only one is in the order. Nice size and still holding air after a few days so I’m happy with my purchase.
