Maria's Third Book is All About Food, Family and Feeling Good
As the previous two entries of Maria's "Everygirl" series were about organization, success and fitness, the third follows their path of excellence as a cookbook. Lets begin discussing the most critical area, which of course is food. There are over 150 recipes included, most of which are quick and easy to prepare as well as being healthy. This is the diet Maria followed on her way to losing 40 pounds. Has a bit of everything from breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as smoothies and desserts, and there is even a recipe for pets to enjoy as Maria is an avid animal lover. With the author being Greek, there is also a Mediterranean influence on display -- and it is clear that she loves to eat.The book is actually fun to read, and there are gorgeous full-color photographs on nearly every page. So in the most important aspect, the book will not disappoint. While the food is sure to warm your heart, so will the included stories about Maria's family. Her mother Litsa strongly influenced Maria's love of cooking and taught her how to be a wonderful cook. Sitting at a table eating great food and sharing stories with family and friends is one of the greatest pleasures of life, and Maria's book is a celebration of that joy.The book is highly recommended, especially if you enjoyed the previous two in the series.

Great Cookbook! Buy it TODAY!!
I LOVE Maria's cookbook. My family loves everything I have made so far and they are tough critics! I can't wait for her next one to come out...because you can't stop now! My only criticism is that on page 57 she has a photo of baklava and NO RECIPE!!!!! I love baklava so a lighter version would have been perfect!!!!! I hope in the next cookbook you add one. Great cookbook and recommend it highly. One tweak I did on her Dolmades recipe, p 106, is I don't roll the mixture in the grape leaves because it took too long and they kept tearing. Now I layer the mixture and cut up the grape leaves to make a layered casserole. Much faster and tastes just the same! Enjoy!

I love Maria's other books and this one might be the best yet. I am a women with a family and a luke warm love of cooking. These recipes are awesome. Simple, easy to follow directions while making new and exciting things for my family to try. Very excited about this book and I will be using for tonight's dinner. I would highly recommend. I also love the layout of the book, as a visual person the vibrant photos and the different color fonts keep me happy and engaged, so I know it will stay in my kitchen and not end up in the cookbook closet. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I like this cookbook because the recipes are simple and tasty
I like this cookbook because the recipes are simple and tasty. I don't love every recipe but who owns a cookbook in which every recipe is made and loved. I love the sweet potato and black bean burrito, quinoa and honey yogurt parfait, green power smoothie, potato chickpea and kale soup and my favorite is the Greek salad recipe.

Love the pictures, the taste, the ease! I finally want to cook & eat healthy!
Love, love, love this cookbook! I have never liked to cook, so haven't cooked much ever. I was also a junk food junkie but now need to eat better for health reasons. This book helped me to enjoy both cooking and eating "tasty", healthy food. Love the pictures, the stories and how easy these recipes are. This was the jump start I needed to get on track to cooking and eating better. Thank you Maria! :) ......P.S. This is posted under Matthew but I'm his wife. ;)

I'm sorry, I may be a little jaded from getting another celebrity cookbook last week that is basically amazing. And I may have not done my research on this cookbook before buying it but, I'm not a huge fan of this. There are few pictures and some of the recipes seem so obvious. I mean, mix granola with fruit and yogurt? I didn't need a cookbook to tell me that. Some of the recipes seem good but just not my taste. I would really have to know a person well to recommend they buy this... Could be great for some people though :-/

Great cooking book
i was so excited to receive this book and it finally came! Initially, one of the main reasons i purchased the book was M.Menounos' story , that she talks about in the beginning of the book. Weird, I know... But I connected to it and definitely wanted to support someone, whose family worked so hard to provide a better life for everyone. Anyway, the book is pretty awesome. The recipes are simple to follow and easy to make, yet very delicious. I love this cooking book and will definitely cook more from it.

A definite cookbook to add to your collection!
This is a great cookbook! Lots of recipes that I plan to try. Many of these recipes were given a fresh, healthy makeover, so you don’t have to feel bad about making them for your family (or enjoying them yourself)! My favorite part about it is that it seems that half the recipes (I’m guessing...I didn’t count) have FETA in them! Yum!! I’m Greek too, so I related to her notes about her family and traditions.
