I got these for my wife, who suffers a bit of hand joint inflammation, which the consultant believes to be mild Arthritis. The Consultant told my wife that some people do find Turmeric helpful, and has therefore started to tell. It’s too early to know yet, but there does seem to be good evidence that it can help.This is an excellent value, good quality product. The capsules are tasteless and virtually odourless, and are very easy to take.I am always conscious of this type of product, and where it is made, etc. You can’t be too careful. These capsules are made in the UK, which is reassuring. The product has GMP accreditation, with no fillers or binders, is Vegan friendly, and non-GMO.High potency, each capsule has 800 mg Turmeric and 200mg Black Pepper, also shown to have benefits. This bottle size provides 60 days recommended dosage supply (60 capsules).In summary, this is a great quality supplement, that’s reasonable value, particularly given it ingredient composition / strength, and various accreditations etc. Recommended.

This turmeric and black pepper supplement comes in a dark plastic bottle with a plastic screw-top lid. Personally I much prefer this to the type with flip-top lids.The capsules are yellowy-orange in colour and standard capsule size and shape. I find them easy to swallow with water (as recommended on the bottle). As you might expect they have a slight 'musty' aroma from the turmeric. I have not noticed any unpleasant after-taste or unwanted side-effects after taking them.As you may know, turmeric is an anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant. It is said to assist joint health, as well as supporting the immune system and helping regulate blood sugar levels. The addition of black pepper makes it much easier for the body to absorb curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric) into the bloodstream. Black pepper also has some health benefits in its own right.The recommended dose is just one capsule a day, so this bottle should last about two months. At a price of around £5 at the time of writing, that is clearly excellent value, so I am happy to give this product a full five stars.

As a regular user of turmeric for pain relieving properties, I am always looking for a better deal on these capsules.I have been taking turmeric for joint pain for several months now and I am finally starting to see the benefits. Though it's not by any means a miracle worker, as such, at some point the pain began to diminish and I do find myself forgetting how bad it initially was.Though, this does now mean I'll have to continue to take these every day now if I want to keep it that way!I love that this bottle simply requires you to take one capsule a day (I've used some whereby the amount is 3 per day!) It's also good to see the many positive elements of this brand, such as UK certification, vegetarian and vegan friendly, and several others.Best of all, this is purely consistent of turmeric with a good dash of black pepper - meaning you know exactly what you're getting.If you're looking to reduce joint pain, I personally thoroughly recommend starting on capsules like this and staying the distance.These are a fantastic buy and at a great low price.

There are a few reasons why I like products from Howard & James. Firstly they make them in the UK and secondly, they are always well priced as if i was buying something at a Boots price but receiving something better that is not a rip off.Here we have Turmeric & Black Pepper.Since i recovered from a Lung infection in October and used Turmeric liquid capsules, and it helped, I have been taking since preventatively and have not suffered from another one since. I was not allowed to go to the GP due to having a cough which god forbid, only belongs to one illness nowadays.I have continued to use Mr H and J turmeric and I have not had another relapse. I am really happy with this.I also like how their products are individually colour coded. Biotin is purple, Turmeric is orange, iron is green etc.

These capsules are quite large at around 2.5cm long but they can still be swallowed easily. The instructions say to take with a whole glass of water, which is a lot for one capsule and makes it more of a chore. The large size means only one needs to be taken daily, which is a bonus. I like the fact the ingredients are organic and the capsule is not Gelatine based but Vegan, not that I am Vegan but I don't like Gelatine. The bottle contains two months supply. Turmeric and Black Pepper are reputed to have amazing benefits and these capsules contain a daily dose of each. I don't know if they work or not, but given they are not doing me any harm, I think it's worth taking, just in case.
