I am comparing these to the enforcer units that came with my 4k system.To Start these are housed in an aluminum alloy casing, this is a lot stronger than the enforcer and would be hard to tamper with/damage, I replaced one of my enforcer units that was high up with this and found that the night vision is substantially better even at long distance, previously with the enforcer unit I was getting delayed swap over times from the security light coming on with the night vision lacking brightness, no issues with this new unit working with bright night vision even when the security light switches on.The other is mounted just above my garage @ about 2m giving a close up picture of my small drive, this was the intended reason for this purchase.The picture aspect seems about the same as the enforcer unit and as others have said its a rather wide screen letterbox (presume most 4k swann are like this)So far I'm very happy with these and would recommend over the enforcer units, I feel that the enforcer just add gimics to a cheap build rather than enhancing picture quality.

Great camera, very clear well balanced picture especially the night vision. The PIR is bright and in total darkness it illuminates the garden well up to about 30 feet. No siren or flashing leds on this model nor two way voice. It was enough to monitor the garden silently 24x7

With the standard 1080p the frame rate (fps) is 15, this gives a smooth picture. With the 4k camera the frame rate drops to 8 fps. This makes the picture very jumpy. If you have the wired coaxial setup I wouldn't recommend them, stick with the standard 1080p hd.

Night vision is much better than the standard defender cameras. These feel pretty sturdy and the mounting screws are hidden inside the housing. You get a lot more adjustment on these.Movement sensor distance on all the Swann cameras I have are 3-5 metres max.

So far we have been unable to get them to work with our Swann system (which does work). We had to get adapters for them but they still won’t work. I need to contact the company so will reassess then.

A good product but the image produced is not as described, the shot is definitely wider but you lose close up top and bottom sections of the image.It's more of a letterbox image, check that this will work with the environment required.
