Nice little epoxy resin kit 🌳🌿
Really like this epoxy resin small kit. Found it really nice to use as not used epoxy resin jewellery kits since I was a kid. This little goddess was my first attempt since then with this resin kit, added a pressed oak leaf cut with my dragonfly punch and mixed foil stirred into remaining resin. Very pleased with the result. Will be purchasing again. 😊🌳🌿

Resin
I got a silicone mould set but I didn’t realise it didn’t have resin in it, so after a quick search in Amazon I found this set, a small amount as a tester priced at £10.88.You get 100ml resin and 100ml of hardener, 2 x silicone jugs, 5 pipettes, mixing sticks and some gloves. I learned the hard way, use the gloves, I didn’t and it took a long time to remove from hands and was very unpleasant and sticky.I mixed the resin and hardener 1:1 and then mixed in some colour that came with my moulds. Poured this then into the moulds and allowed it to set for 24hrs.I was very pleased with the end results as I had initially written it off as not great, but more due to my inexperience than the product. When I actually got some earrings from the mould I felt I had achieved something, a new skill and hobby enjoyed.

Not the best
Very small size for the money. Takes well over a week to cure fully, and does not degass very well and lots of tiny bubbles encapsulated.I recommend warming the resin and the moulds prior to pouring. Then once poured, keep the mould with castings somewhere warm and this should speed up the curing process.

Good item
Good product works well although it does have a strong smell so recommend using outside where possible. The included pouring cup is very useful.
