We love these. It’s easy to bring with us since everything fits inside with a top to hold them. They are perfect for playing in the sand. They only reason I didn’t give them five stars it because the handle area is so delicate that they broke using them a few times.But we love that they were made to respect be safe for our oceans and break down if washed into the water.

I baught this sand set because it is the only I could find that is biodegradable. (Don't forget it doesn't biodegrade really if you toss it into the garbage/landfill). The design was less appealing to me in the first place (but that's just a matter of taste) and after a few uses, I actually find the design slightly flawed/inconvenient. The handles are my main complaint. First, in order to use the handles, you have to put the lid on the right way so the holes/handles align (actually more of a problem for your young toddler - of coure, you could call it brain teaser). Second, because the handles are holes rather than a belt like on traditional buckets, it's hard to hang the set on a finger or two when you are on the playground, trying to gather your bag, your shoes and your possibly kicking and screaming toddler. It's possible by all means but just seems easier with a traditional bucket. Third, because there are holes, when you fill the bucket with sand, it obviously runs off the sides. Especially when you tap the sand before turning the bucket upside down. Never mind the sand that, again, escaped from the holes and ruins your straight lines! It's nothing too serious, my toddler does not seem to care much at this point but since it kind of bugs me, who knows how this will change. The small cups, by the way, do not have a straight rim either, but that's probably no problem at all. I feel like the designer wanted to make something attractive but there is no need to reinvent the wheel I think.

This was a very cute little box but I would have liked it better if it was just a little deeper and if the lid snapped on instead of just being placed over top. The scoop was amazing for my little guy and he loved the cups as well. Unfortunately, my husband lost the scoop our first day on the beach so I can rest knowing it will biodegrade in the ocean. This meant that I had to buy a second one as my little one loved the scoop better than any shovel. I only wish I could buy extra cups and scoops separately so I could buy more without having to buy the whole set because the box was not used too much. He did like the lid as a sifter though!

I was expecting something much larger upon thinking of beach toys, then again it IS for our 16 m/o and I like that it is a manageable size for her. I also like that it is all contained inside of itself...having a beach item come in a net doesn't do it for me. Right now this is our first and only beach toys for our little one. We are big on minimalism and buying good quality, eco-friendly products and this item fits the bill on both accounts. We live a few blocks from the beach, so I'll check back in with how they hold up after the season.

I bought these in 2012 and they just now broke in 2017. I also must say we live in the FL keys and use these all the time. Not to mention I have left them in the pool and outside in the yard for days! I bet they would have lasted even longer had I taken care of them. I am very pleased with how long they have lasted considering and it has given me piece of mind knowing if I lose pieces they will biodegrade and not harm the marine life we have here. Will buy another to replace!!

I just received this product and like it a lot. The colors are very nice and true to the picture. Yes, it's somewhat small, but I think it'll be perfect for small hands to handle. Haven't used it yet, but I can see this being a big hit. I love that it's eco conscious and biodegradable. The type of products I purchase matter to me and I like what I know of this company so far. When I first received this product, there was a small hole in the bottom of the box. I sent it back and ordered another one and this one is fine.

I just got my replacement, since the first one was broken when I got it. I think it is cute, small, and all the pieces seem sturdy. The scoop and cups are perfectly sized for my petite daughter. We love that it is not plastic and that it's biodegradable!

My baby enjoys these beach toys so much that we started giving the set as presents to her friends. They are small, but that makes them perfect for packing on trips (especially when you are flying and have minimal space for toys). The set has just enough features to keep my baby entertained- she started playing with this at about 9 months and is still enjoying them at 14 months. I love that they are earth friendly. The only downside is that my baby thinks that they are "cups" and wants to drink the water from them... hopefully she'll grow out of that.
