This Chair is Excellent
My weight fluctuates between 255 and 280 pounds regularly. I have had this chair for a year and a half. I sit in it for four or five hours a day. It's still solid and comfortable. It's better than the more expensive ones that I bought, which claimed to hold 500 lbs. Definitely recommend this chair.

Better than expected...
For reference, I'm 6'1" (fluctuating between 240-260 lbs. right now). I have a tech & writing job, so I spend a lot of time at the computer even at home. I also have numerous chronic joint injuries to include degenerative discs.Purchased on sale, so it cost the same as the last couple "gaming chairs" I had purchased. I could tell it was already several degrees of higher quality than those other chairs just from pulling it out of the box.Other chairs have thin metal bases which over time bend, the flimsy plastic handles snap off, and there just isn't enough seat area to go around. Not so with this chair. I am happy with my purchase.Pros:* Sturdy Metal Construction where it is expected; Extra thick plastic where the plastic goes.* 5 wide profile metal pronged wheel base; sturdy-smooth rolling wheels; well-balanced in all reclining positions; you'd have to try really really hard to tip it over.* 3 hard-set recline positions; Spring release recline mechanism (so you don't get thwacked); it doesn't recline to a full lying position, but it reclines far enough where you could fall asleep if using an external foot rest. The full upright is fully upright with no wiggle. Yes!!!* relatively deep seat; seat is wide enough for a decent manspread, especially since the arms can actually be adjusted outward rather than the static squeeze on the thighs;*noticeably more gas pressure in the cylinder makes it sturdier;*mesh back will enhance breathability; lumbar support is adequate (probably) for most peopleNeutrals/Cons:*The seat cushion is semi-firm, more so than "gaming chairs" which are soft and always bottom out very quickly. It isn't uncomfortable but not comfortable either, mostly because it feels like they designed the front for an edge sitter, rather than contouring it for your thighs. A 12-hour sit might not be in the cards. From experience, duplicating the mesh backing setup in the seat would be more supportive and comfortable than a foam seat. I put my silicone honeycomb seat pad on it. It fits perfectly so most minor inconveniences solved.* The head rest doesn't fully extend to my height for what you would expect for a head rest. However, I found that I could adjust it to where it is a neck rest and cradles the base of my skull. It is actually more comfortable when used this way, especially if you have disc issues.* The lumbar support, as I said, is adequate, but not up to the level of my $850 office chair. That's to be expected. A little more adjustability would be preferred though if you are going to advertise it as a feature. The seat is deep enough that I could add my own lumbar pillow, so problem solved.Trivial:* The instruction manel is a tad better than those Swedish manuals, and much better than most Chinese manuals. It is multi-lingual and everything is labelled properly and matches the labelling on the parts. It should be noted that a Shem is not a historical figure, it is a Washer.* Extra bolts and shems for every type. Not needed but appreciated.* Everything lines up as expected and tightens well. Even if there was slight manufacture defect, the engineers give you enough wiggle room for adjustments that you could even accommodate for effects.* A T-style tool was included. It was designed to make tightening a breeze and not aggravate my arthritis or rip skin off. Thank you!* A pair of cotton work gloves were included. They reminded me of Mickey Mouse gloves. The size reaches from my wrist to my first knuckle, so definitely not fitting. Also, the well designed parts and tools ensured there was little to no risk of hurting yourself. Although the thought is appreciated, the manufacturer could probably skip the inclusion. I will add them to my annual donation pile.Update (10/23/2022): Figured out the lumbar adjustment. It is now extremely comfortable. Disregard previous complaint. I've been sitting in this for hours now, and it actually makes my back feel better.

Great chair, Lumbar support is abysmal
Ive owned this chair for over a year now, here are the pros/cons:Pros:Seat cushion is very comfortable, breathable and doesn't wear our quickly. The adjustments are simple and easy to useThe back mesh is nice and breathableThe neck support is a nice feature, but I have not used more than 5 timesThe wheels roll well and the base of the chair is good qualityCons:The lumbar support for this chair is abysmal. The lowest setting sticks out so far and hard into your lower back that you have to scoot forward into your chair in order to not have it cause pain. Also adjusting it is incredibly difficult, turning the dial is unnecessarily hard and not easy to do while reaching behind your back. Furthermore, the actual lumbar pad is not comfortable either. Its not the worst but its not good. Basically I ended up having to take the whole lumbar support out because it was causing me so much discomfort. Which sucks because if the lumbar was good this chair would be an easy 5 stars.I would truly rate this chair a 3.5 because the lumbar being so bad its basically useless knocks 1.5 stars off because it think its one of the most important features in a chair but I have to round up to 4 in order to he fair.

Comfortable. Great Value for money. Easy to assemble. Great customer service.
I've been looking for a new chair to replace a cheap $30 chair i bought off of Amazon last year that had been killing my back and shoulders. I wanted something in the $150-$200 range and settled on the M18. Shipping was a fast 3 days with Prime and the box arrived in great condition. All parts were separately wrapped or in their own boxes. Came with all hardware and nothing was missing. Assembly took me a little longer then normal because i have rotator cuff injury in my left shoulder so that arm is mostly useless. The most difficult part for me was attaching the wheels to the base. Other then that it was simple.Once the chair was assembled i sat in it for the first time and started making my adjustments with the recline feature, armrest level along with the headrest. Next i reached around for the lumbar support knob and tried to adjust it but with my bad shoulder i decided to just get out of the seat and turn it around and adjust it with both hands. After spinning the chair a round to get at the lumbar knob i noticed a large crack in the plastic in the middle of the back of the lumbar plastic piece. I had not made any lumbar adjustments yet so i assumed this is how i received it. The lumbar support comes preinstalled to the backrest so it either was damaged before or during the shipping process. Either way it was damaged before being delivered to me. The lumbar support still functioned properly but it was still broken.I decided to contact Sihoo's customer support that came along with the installation instructions regarding the damaged lumbar piece. I received a reply the next day and after sending them some more info about my order and a couple pics they shipped me a replacement part which took a week to arrive. I swapped out the damaged part and after owning the chair for a week so far i am really happy with my purchase.Im about 5'10 180lbs. At its highest height level my feet reach the ground comfortably flat footed. The backrest fully covers my back and the headrest adjusts very well to sit on the back of my lower head/upper neck. The armrests only go up and down....not forward and back or tilt inwards. This is fine for me as they are grooved to fit your forearm while sitting at your desk/keyboard. The armrests are also a soft cushioned rubber material...not a hard plastic. The mesh of the backrest and headrest are good material and seem well made. The seat is very wide and the cushioning is firm which i prefer. Usually more firm cushioning seems to last longer and hold its form. The base of the chair is VERY sturdy and made of all metal. My chair is on carpet and holds its position very well. As far as recline goes you can set it to recline all the way back, half way or lock the chair in the upright position. You can also adjust the resistance on the reclining feature. So that being said im very happy with my purchase. It arrived with a slight flaw which the company corrected in a fast manor and was very polite in their customer support. I personally don't have a lot of experience with many office chairs and have never used a high end chair($500-$1000+) chair before to make any comparisons. All my chairs for the most part have been from local stores like Staples or Office Depot. Id recommend this over anything they carry in this price range....and i went and looked at their products before buying this chair as well.

Sturdy and good quality
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Sturdy and weighted. Wheels are smooth. I’m 5’5” and I feel like it’s great for me. I can see that it might be too big for someone more petit, though.Very easy to assemble.
