I use these as a driving instructor for insurance and training reasonsQuality of units are very good, not cheap plasticQuality of recording and playback very good.Easy to set up with no issuesTook a while to understand playback but that's my fault.I thought it worked on Bluetooth but it works on wi-if using your phone as a hotspot.My only issue is that the supplied 16gb card is too small do I have changed to a 32gbRecordings are on a loop and if you leave the card in it will just re write over and over again.Recordings are timed in 1 minute intervals, I would like to make them longer, you probably can but I am not that savvy with technology.Overall, I am very impressed with the whole unit and I have already recommended the product yo family and friends.Once set up you can leave it...keep it simple, simple works

great feature and the quality is great
I've held off from writing a review of this product so I've had time to use it. Works very well, great feature and the quality is great.I have only given this 3 stars due to a problem I am having, only recently I will be driving along and it will basically reboot and when I check the footage it has not recorded for about a minute before and the time to reboot so basically if I have an accident I have no evidence of what happened.This is very frustrating and is on my mind quite a bit as I got an insurance discount when I renewed for have a front and rear camera recording when driving.The other thing is that I have this installed in my car with all the wires hidden etc and will be a right pain if it needs replaced or warranty; plus ive not got the box etc.This is not a cheap dash cam set up so I will probably need to call Amazon and ask what the recommend I do, I did contact the manufacturer who sent me what I felt was a quick cheeky response saying any problems see Amazon!!I would have no problems giving this 5 starts but I am not 100% happy due to the problem described above

Best dash cam around for features
This is a very good car dash which allows you to film the back and front of your car.The night vision isnt great but works well like most cameras.It also has parking mode which is its best feature, this allows you to film when its parked using your car battery by hardwiring it to fuse box or by adding a external battery in the car. You can choose how sensative parking mode is by impact or movement. this gradually became worse until it failed in total
Purchased this product in October 20214. Set up was straightforward. The front camera operated ok; recording just about acceptable. However, after a few weeks the rear camera began to fail intermittently; this gradually became worse until it failed in total, i.e. would not work at all.On 24/12/2014 I contacted amazon and informed them that the item was faulty, I, of course, expected the item to be replaced; after all it was only two months old, but I was very much mistaken. Initially, there were a few exchanges of correspondence:- they asked me to check our the cable and connections, visually the cable and connection seems ok to my layman's eye. They then asked me to send, at my own expence, the complete camera system, to "The Mobile Gadget Store". I did so and received an astonishing reply from a person known to me only as "MGS". He said that I had "damaged" the cable, "destroyed" the pin and said that "the pin has been stuck" sic. I, of course, denied that I had caused any damage to the item, and that I had only pushed/pulled the connections gently in and out. There followed a series of Emails between myself and "MSG" that I can only describe as bizarre; their attitude was rude, accusatory and contrary to customer relations good practice Mobile Gadget Store refused to replace the cable and refused to refund my postage. Eventually, at the end January 2015, the camera was returned, without any covering letter of explanation, I do not know if the cable had been replaced. The camera worked ok a few months, but then the problem returned, i.e. the rear camera failed intermittently and then in October 2015 stopped working altogether. I could not bring myself to contact Amazon/Mobile Gadget Store again, this would be much too stressful. I wonder if anyone else has had similar experience with Mobile Gadget Store.
