This product has Taurine which is left out of most dog foods and required for dogs with heart conditions. My dog loves the flavor and has no problem taking it as a treat. I would add this to your dogs vitamin intake if it does not have those added ingredients, like Taurine, CQ, etc. which helps to keep your dog active.

I honestly have such high praises for this product and truly do not know where to begin! If I could give a hug to the makers of this life saving product, I would! And, I would extend that hug to the past REVIEWERS, as well, for their praises & shared experiences of the product, which convinced me to give it a go.My 13 yr. old Maltese was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and murmur on May 21, 2021. She was prescribed Furosemide & Enalapril (both 2x a day) for the 1st two weeks. Then she was taken off the Furosemide. Enalapril was to be given 2x a day every 12 hrs. for the rest of her twilight years. Instead of improving, Roxy was dying on me. She had more bad days than good. Actually, she only had a few moments within a day that she would perk up...to pee & poop. At that, I would have to assist her because she was TOO weak and would fall over. She loss weight, because she wasn't eating, as she normally would & one day refused to eat or drink, anything. Needless to say, I was an emotional wreck because I knew she would either die or I would have to euthanize her.I received the product the late evening of July 3rd, so began giving it to her the morning of 07/04. As recommended, Roxy is eating 2 Heart + Vitalitys 2x a day for the past 6 days (the day of this review is her 6th day on it July 10th) and she began to show improvement from the 1st full dose to present. Mind you, when I began giving her the chews she was too weak to eat or chew, so I cut it in to very small pieces and added some peanut butter. Thankfully, Roxy began to swallow the small pieces. By the next couple of days, she quickly began chomping them down (without the peanut butter) like a child eating candy. She is not only eating on her own, she is walking, zooming around my yard, hippity-hopping in circles, chasing my cat out of my...I mean, her room. She is eating on her own and wagging her tail. Her nose is FINALLY wet, again. The list of signs of improvement are many and I couldn't be happier.I have reduced her medication to one Enalapril a day (1/2 in the AM & 1/2 in the PM) and it is my hope to have her off of this synthetic medication soon, while continuing to give her Heart + Vitality as recommended for her weight/size for the rest of her life.I have been regularly checking her heart beat and after 5 days (just yesterday) her heart is in ❤rhythm♥! Please note, I have made these changes to her care without consulting her veterinarian, BUT DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone else to do the same. Fortunately, I work from home and she is constantly being observed, so I've been able to tweak her meds accordingly. Until, I regain trust in her vet and she is completely off the medication, I will then schedule a follow-up with him and recommend this product to his office. Actually, I will buy one just for his office to give to another pooch.Again, many grateful thanks to the makers and past reviewers, y'all literally saved Roxy's life!!!

Great herbal ingredients that includes herbs I would have put into something I made myself, but in this form, my wee dog thinks it's a TREAT instead of medicine! Well done, makers.

Tigger our older Plot mix,was having heart symptoms.He coughed and wheezed on exertion so I wanted a natural supplement for him.After reading reviews on wonder paws I ordered it.After a few days on it,I began to see an improvement .Tigger is coughing much less,can go farther without completely getting winded,and his appetite has also improved.Glad we decided to use this product.The formula is perfectly balanced with the key nutrients needed for an aging pal with cardiac issues.

Horrible, my dog wouldn’t go near themand they don’t take returns and i bought two. Other brands have been much better received
