I bought this for my CR10 s5 and it worked very well. It stopped the backlash when printer was powered down that caused the z gantry to skew. I also believe it helped stop small backlash while printing

Easy to install, and does what it supposed to. I was worried about this being made of plastic, but after hundreds of hours of printing, it is still working perfectly with no visible signs of wear.

These don't come in pairs and are made of plastic. The only reason I bought these are because they are the only ones that can be delivered within a day or two. The others take over a month and are from overseas. Hope they don't break or come loose but I can imagine they'll wear out quickly. Keep yall posted.

I received two end pieces, a spring and no flanged mounting bracket. So basically useless. Seems like really cheap plastic. Luckily I had also ordered a two pack of the brass version at the same time so I could get my printer running. Will be returning this for sure.

Item is as described, and was shipped in a timely manner as expected. It does function as intended as well and for those reasons I give it a decent rating. That being said, however, potential buyers should note that while these are easier to install that the round, metal versions(e.g. these are pre-threaded to fit the screws and snap right into place with little fuss), they are the cheaper plastic versions. I did know this; it's in the description, and I don't hold it against the seller at all. BUT, it's readily apparent that these are made for economy and not longevity. Being that they're plastic, it is possible to break the tabs off, and to strip out the screw holes, and generally they don't feel as though they will last the life of the printer. So, if you're on a budget these are a great pick. Likewise if you don't want to bother with any extra parts or tinkering these are, again, a good choice. But if you don't mind a very small amount of tinkering and want some that will definitely last forever, I would go for the all-metal ones instead. But I knew what I was getting, so 4/5.

Choose not to use these plastic back lash nuts. Wasn't too sure after looking at them if it was worth it. However, going with the brass style didn't have any more quality in the sloppy threads, so these may have been just as good.

A its plastic so the price is crazy, B . Its pretty useless in use it simply slides down the z-rod making it utterly pointless. AVOID!
