FORD. That word lays heavy in my gut. But this is the easiest (fix or repair done). Wife loves that 08 car and a transmission guy said it's a recommended repair so you don't also have to replace AC condenser. Yep AC and transmission fluid is cooled in one unit. Added to front center so fan pulls air right thru. Bypass for trans fluid wasn't effected. Even borrowed a large trailer and headed up hanging rock park to top then right back down on 92 degrees day. Nothing got hot and a cooler and oil cooler all perfect running order. We don't even pull trailers but making sure for the wife. She usually has kids with her. But great deal great fit and excellent quality. Thanks

Transmission cooler
Bought for 2002 Civic. Easy to install bought this cause it was slightly larger than the one I already had and with it being hot out. As well as did a drain and fill on the transmission. So far so good, transmission shifts smoother and the cars idle settled down smoother when in D and stopped at the light. Update 1 week later car is shifting smoothly and seems transmission is running cooler. Hop out of car when I park and touch cooler it’s hot but not scalding hot so big difference!

Works great for a Nissan Juke!
I purchased this to help resolve a transmission overheating issue with a 2011 Nissan Juke, and after a week installed have had no reported issues or problems, so it works great for the application. I paired it with a Dabescan 4 port transmission cooler, and it’s worked great. I could immediately tell it was pulling a ton of heat out of the transmission fluid even just idling in the driveway so should prevent the transmission from going into limp mode while going up inclines during the hot summer months.Another reviewer recommended using a different sized hose for the 4 port Nissan cooler and this transmission cooler, however I was able to get the hose that is included with this kit to slide on after a little penetrating oil on the ports of the 4 port cooler to help slide the hose on. It didn’t take much and made for a very tight fit before hose clamp installation. I’d readily purchase this transmission cooler again for other vehicle applications!

Great packaging and the trans coolers are very well engineered and far superior over most all brands ive seen. Soon it'll be keeping my CVT trans in my 2011 subaru with a fresh rebuild an new all aluminum radiator.

Installed a new aftermarket radiator into my Caravan. Worked great but I was a little suspicious of the trans cooler type they used. Just didn't look like it would do as good as the OEM Stacked Plate style. Driving it around on a few super hot days around here and the trans did shift a little abnormally at peak temps while driving around. I ordered the Hayden cooler kit. Came with all I needed, the hardest part was removing the front fascia to gain access to the front of my radiator/condenser to add the cooler. And that wasn't a big deal, just time consuming. The actual installing and tying of the cooler into the system (in series with the old cooler) took only a few minutes. First hot day proved the value of the Hayden. Everything completely normal if not better shifting all-around. Transmissions are a weak point on any front drive car, if you have an older car that runs great and you want it to last, this cooler, along with proper maintenance, is cost effective insurance.

Perfect Compress Air Cooler
Well, for $25 this cooler is smaller than some but appears able for my application - Compress air cooler. During Covid lock down I learned on YouTube that inserting a cooler between the compressor and the tank reduces the amount of water collected in the tank. Lots of videos on the topic, so I tried it. This transmission cooler has 3/8” OD tubes with 1/4” ID, not threaded and easily takes 3/8” air hoses with small hose clamps. The install was extremely simple and quick. The kit comes with special mounting “hardware”. It’s actually plastic but sturdy enough for the job. I used PEX clamps instead of the hose clamps supplied as I just had them and I’m not planning to take it apart any time soon. All I needed to do was to mount the cooler on the compressor’s fan housing, with a little spacer. Cut a section off the air output tube on the compressor and connect the hoses from the compressor to the cooler and the cooler to the tank. Crimp the PEX hose clamps and we’re done. Turned on the compressor, so far no leaks. Temperature of air coming from compressor is hot at the hose connection, but quite cool (ambient temperature) coming out of the cooler. JOB DONE!!! May use longer aluminum tubing before the hose at the compressor side to decrease exposing the hose to excess heat.
