Sax True Flow Heavy Body Acrylic Paint, 1/2 Gallon, Assorted Colors, Set of 6-439307 (Fоur Расk)

There was a review that the red comes out to be pink but I do not agree. It's a vibrant red. They have a thinner consistency than the acrylic paint you get out of a tube, so you get a nice flow. The price is good for what you get and they are great for group activities, classes, crafts. I teach painting classes and I am happy with these paints :) The blue paint is phthalo blue which has a green base. If you're trying to make purple it's great for dark purple ,but when you add white for a lighter purple you will get a muted lilac color (which is still nice, but...) if you want a vibrant purple, you need to use a red-based-blue like cobalt.....Note: only buy pumps for these if you use them on a regular basis. Once the paint dries inside it, it becomes difficult to clean. I put mine inside of those clear squeeze bottles with the attached cap- a lot easier.

Love this paint. It is exactly as I remember it being when we used it all 4 years of my high school art class. We are by no means pros, we just had a canvas painting party for my daughter's birthday. So much fun and the paintings turned it beautifully. All of the colors are accurate, not too light as some commented. The lighter colors are thinner and don't cover pencil well, but that's too be expected; it covered after a few layers. GREAT product at a GREAT price. I just wish it included the pumps.

This Acrylic Paint set came as described. Colors are bold and beautiful!If you are buying this set for private or class room use I would suggest to definitely buy the pumps along with it.I chose not to and regret it now. The spout is too large to pour a small amount out at a time. Other than that its great. You can mix them easily to create different colors and the pictures look nice.Overall, this set saved me a lot of money if you compare it to the tiny paint bottles you get at the superstore... ;)

They only thing I don't like is that the paint seems chalky when dry. However, I am just starting to paint and the value of the fun I am having for so long is so worth it. Having so much paint is giving me the freedom to do a lot of playing with the paints. People have said something about the red looking pink but I never noticed that. The colors mix well so you can make a lot of different colors and shades. Easy to paint over I'd you let it dry. I bought pumps and had to cut a little off so they fit but they work fine, but do have plugs dry if I don't use for a while, so I have to pick out the plugs or press hard to force it out which can be messy. Someone else in another review said we can get better quality paint same size for less money, and they out the paint in squirt bottles, so will look into those options next time.

This is a fairly good set for the price. It would be most suited for beginners, or for classroom settings.I've been working on some very large pieces and I needed a lot of quick drying paint. My only complaint is that the colors, when dry, have a somewhat lack-luster appearance. The colors become more muted and "murky". I've used an acrylic varnish on top, which helped bring some life back to the colors, but it's still not as vibrant as when they are wet. It's hard for me to walk away from a painting knowing it won't look the same when I come back, which is my reason for removing one star.Other than that, they are thick, creamy, and smooth. They can be easily cut with small amount of water, have no chunks or grit in them, and would be absolutely lovely for layering and smaller projects.

I'm new at acrylic fluid painting and needed paint. This paint is very thick, and has good pigmentation. Begging new arty this, I'm not experienced with any other paint to compare it to.I mix this paint with Floetral, white glue, and/ or water and they flow really nicely.I'm disappointed in the black, it's not deep enough. Looks more like a dark gray than black. I still use it and get okay results, but am looking for something better something to supplement.

Using for acrylic pouring. It''s very thick and needs to be thinned with flotral and water but good quality.

I make hand made baskets out of news papers. I have to use water based paints and was only able to use expensive small bottles for desired quality! The expense was passed on to my customers unfortunately! They did not complain because they want quality also. I seen this 6/ pkg gal containers and I said "Okay I am going to try these", This paint is every bit the product of the expensive paint I was using and more! I mix my own paint so that no 2 baskets are ever the same. The paint is so thick that I add about 1/8 of a cup of water to 16 oz of mixed paint and so it goes even further! The best part! I can pass the savings on to my customers with out lowering the quality of my baskets!

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the paint. It's truly heavy bodied. Mixed well. I need to water it down (or use one of those products to thin it out??) for most uses. I tried an abstract painting with lots of body to it, and it kept shape and texture well I will absolutely buy this again and absolutely recommend. I haven't tried really high end paint, but I can't see any reason to use Liquitex BASICS over this, as those are more expensive. All seals and caps in tact. There was a dent in the yellow paint, but looks to have happened before packaging and didn't harm the seal or the caps or the paint, so I couldn't care less.So many reviews said this was perfect for children? Sure I guess, but it is just a solid all around paint.Did not deal with customer service at all as I had no problems.

I was surprised the paint was really thick. I bought it for pour painting but this paint could be put on a palette and not run off. So I can make more paint for my paintings I just have to stir it more to get it mixed

Ooooh my gOOOOD! THEY'RE AMAZING, I'm a professional artist and finding bulk paint is brutal so this purchase was honest to goodness an incredible deal for me. Love the texture and consistency of the paint

Very thick for a medium bodied acrylic. Good value

I love this paint and will be buying again. One note of caution, the paint arrived partially frozen. Once thawed it hadn't affected the paint. Had it frozen more the bottles may have burst.
