Great little coffee grinder
I really liked this coffee grinder. It has a sturdy build, and feels surprisingly heavy in your hand. It looks like it is hand-made, as it has those imperfections that are typical for hand-made artisanal goods. I personally don't mind that at all, as it does not take away from the functionality, but certainly adds character. There was no instruction included with the grinder, but the Amazon product listing actually has everything you need to know.I do suggest you at least wipe off the coffee compartment at the bottom before the first use. Mine had small metal particles, and I certainly did not want that in my brew. I also discarded a first small batch of coffee grinds, just in case there was something in the grinding mechanism as well, as it is made out of metal as well.To adjust the coarseness you simply use the same handle you use for grinding the beans. Simply turn the bolt at the bottom of the grinder clockwise (see my 2nd and 3rd pic), until you get the coarseness that you prefer. I turned it too tight for my likeness at first, and it came out a perfect espresso quality. The bean compartment would hold enough to use for several cups (well, unless you drink more of a mud type of a brew :-)). I would say it is perfect for one or two mugs at the time (or several smaller European cups), after which is gets kind of annoying to use it (but again, a matter of preference).Overall this is a great product if you prefer a manual burr grinder, and need something compact that does not take up space. I also think it is beautiful, and very well made.

Works well, looks classy
My electric burr grinder doesn't go nearly fine enough for Turkish coffee and this one had good reviews, so I gave it a try. Before trying it with coffee, I cleaned it out by grinding some rice. I then adjusted the burr using the crank handle until they just started touching while turning the shaft, and backed it off a hair so they no longer touched. The result is perfectly powdered coffee that works great in an Ibrik. The mechanism is pretty stout and it has some weight to it, so I expect it to last a while. I also like how the handle folds up and hides inside when not in use.

Looks good, works good, seems solid
At the time of this review, I've used the grinder only once. I did not have to adjust the grind settings, as the grind was the way that I'd want it. Functionally, I'd say that it is perfectly functional. It is fairly heavy, which gives it a solid, durable feel. It's attractive, and it doesn't take up a lot of space.I have another manual grinder that I have used for several years now and am happy with, so I probably won't be using this one for my daily coffee. I bought it to use while camping or traveling. I know, and concede that a normal person might simply grind the beans before they left on a camping trip, and I'll probably do that for short overnighters, but I like freshly ground coffee, and I like the idea of grinding my own coffee out in the woods or not having to depend on hotel coffee. Time will tell as to how often I use this grinder, but I am not unhappy with my purchase. The cons are not major ones. It would be better if the handle fitted onto the grinder a little more firmly. That's not a deal-breaker but I think it would help with the functionality of the grinder if I didn't have to push down at the same time that I am turning the grinder handle. The only other one that I can think of is that it would be nice if the spoon would fit into the grinder so that it wouldn't have to be carried separately, but I doubt that I'll use the spoon anyhow. It is cute, but since I can't fit it into the grinder, it will probably be lost within a year.Later, I have since used this several times and stand by my initial review. It's not my go-to grinder, or the one that I use on daily basis because it takes longer than my other manual grinder and is best for a fine grind, but I take it when I am traveling and I continue to like it.

Very solid and sturdy; works well.
I use this to grind dark roast coffee to fill reusable pods for my Keurig. Takes me about a minute, and the freshly ground coffee is better than any pod I've bought. It's sturdy and solid feeling, and I expect it to last.edit: I've found the only practical way to grind fine enough for Turkish coffee is to grind twice: once at a setting loose enough to crank easily, then again with it adjusted as tight as it'll go. Trying to get there in one pass is not only serious work, but produces grounds that float. The second grind takes a while, so this might not be the best choice if you make a lot of Turkish coffee. I'm still very pleased with it, though.

Not a coffee grinder so much...
Regardless of what it says, there is no grind adjustment on this. Sent as a gift and her hubby (mechanically inclined) used the crank for 5 mins and only got half teaspoon of coffee ground. He thinks it’s really a pepper grinder disguised as a coffee grinder. The area in the grinder is too small for anything coffee bean size. Also, the unit (copper) is good looking enough but the silver steel shaft coming out of the top ruins the ‘look’. Had to return it...

Hard to use, base keep falling and it takes forever to grind a little amount of beans.
I don't know how to start, I was fascinated by the look, and deeply regretted it after use.The product has a strong metal mell that will stick to your hands, and it's a bad design that the base keeps falling when I'm grinding, and the handle is also not firm you will have to adjust it over and over. I take almost 10 mins to grind my 70g of beans not to mention it's heavy my hands hurt.2 stars id for the flavor. The fineness of the powder is fine but doesn't worth the physical and mental suffering. It's just good-looking but in no way useful.I'm returning this.

Buena construcción y material, aún no sé si funciona como se esperaría porque no la he utilizado.
Es muy hermosa como pieza decorativa, pero como aún no la utilizo, no puedo decir nada sobre si funciona bien o no.

Nice looking grinder
You have to give it a little knock now and then to free the coffee beans when grinding, or the beans get stuck and you end up grinding thin air. That's not much of a problem though.[Edit] ...Just to add, before I bought this I'd read a few reviews complaining of bits of metal appearing when the coffee had been ground, so I purchased a small magnet at the same time. I've run the magnet over the ground coffee on quite a few occasions and it has never picked up any metal.

Buen y lindo molino
