Ordered the 2XL (36-38) These are a little big, but the drawstrings allow for tightening. I can deal with a little too baggy as opposed to a little too small. I should have just ordered a size smaller; My fault. There are two small pockets in the front.. Should fit a phone or a pack of cigarettes and lighter.. How much are you really going to put in a swimsuit pocket, anyway. Soft, quick dry material. Mesh lining. Metal on the ends of the tie strings, so you should not have to worry about the strings getting lost in the waistband. Good pair of shorts. Just order the size you are instead of ordering one size larger.

The shorts seemed to be of good construction, but they were way too small for my husband. He is short in statue, but he still found the crotch area to be cramped and he felt like the shorts were riding up on him. To bad as my husband has a hard time finding work out shorts that do not fall below his knees.

I recently started playing rugby and one of the iconic pieces of apparel for the sport are short shorts. I was sort of trying to ease my way into since I've never worn any sort of short shorts before. These were not the way to do it, don't get me wrong they are excellent shorts and they handle the wear and tear of being covered in big manly dudes and cleats very well, they are just SHORT.

I ordered these hoping to get a short-short for squatting that wouldn't have to be readjusted constantly like all the sweat shorts I own. They stay put and out of the way. I was ambivalent about the netting, but it turned out for the best, largely because one of the reasons for all the readjusting was keeping everything separated.That said: Sizing. When something lists "asian sizing", I typically go one size up. These are measured by waist, as most pants seem to be, but of course you're going to find that they ride low on the hips. I'm not sure how big a problem this is for other men, but my hip size is not my waist size. I jumped up two sizes from my usual American sizing (L). The hips were just about dead on (43" hips, XXL waist runs 38"-40") and my tree trunk legs fit with a little room to spare. The fabric stretches and the cut it high, so they're pretty much perfect for squatting. If you have massive legs, whatever size you are, consider bumping up a size, and remember that the waist size is smaller than the actual hip measurement you get in the shorts, like all the pants on the planet.

I LIKE THE PRODUCT BUT YOU HAVE A PROBLEM GETTING IT TO MEFOR THE SECOND TIME IN 2 WEEKS THE ITEM HAD THE RIGHT SIZE MARKED ON THE PACKAGE BUT THE WRONG SIZE INSIDE. LOOKS LIKE A LOT ISSUEWHEN CAN I REORDER AND HOPE TO GET THE RIGHT SIZE INSIDE THE PACKAGE ?

I received the DESMIT shorts in less than two days thanks to Amazon Prime. I ordered a XXL, as my waist size is 36 they fit perfect. Don't expect to fit much in the pockets. Overall, these are great shorts perfect for the gym, running or sleeping. The material is super soft and comfortable. I especially liked that they are lined and hold everything properly I place. Great buy!

Bought these for hiking and the gym .. they are indeed pretty short and the pockets are shallow but I was able to do a 3- day hike in the mountains recently without ripping these or dropping my iPhone 6 out of the pocket. The little metal "stoppers" at the end of the drawstrings did not make it throug the first washing machine cycle though, but all you have to do is tie a few knots at the end of each. They have a mesh liner inside like a pair of swim trunks and they're slightly see-through so I would wear some undies with them unless you're actually swimming in them. Seems pretty durable so far

Made in China which has completely different sizing than the USA. So I think you get it.....
