Just get it!!!
I know I know. the $300 price tag for this thing is hefty, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't skeptical when I was actually about to buy it. from the moment I got my iPad I want to get the magic keyboard but I couldn't yet justify the price. it wasn't until I realized I could use it for work and school that it was a necessity. I honestly think it takes the iPad to the next level with portability, functionality and productivity. Having this thing literally makes you want to work! Also its great for watching movies and gaming while sitting at a table. While in bed it can be a lil wobbly since its so top heavy, you have to find the sweet spot in your bed for it to not fall back. I also love the viewing angles, I know some people are frustrated that it can't go alllllll the way back but that would literally be pointless because this case is made for typing. if you want to use your iPad like a table then dont get this case. but if you want to use it as both then all you have to do is simply pop it right off the case and set it on top and you're good to go to draw and jot down notes. People are also frustrated that this doesn't have function keys which would have been nice to have or at least even an escape key but I digress. All in all It's definitely worth the money especially if your iPad is your main device. get over the $300 price tag because 1. it's an investment just like the iPad, 2. You already spent almost $1,000 on the iPad so why not get the full experience with the magic keyboard? Just dont get it if you know you're not going to use it very often because then that would defeat the purpose of even getting it. Last thing, you can't even complain about the price because it's literally always on sale on Amazon, I got mine for $200 so definitely take advantage of that price! oh I almost forgot, the track pad is awesome! its a little small but its not bad and the keyboard is amazing, wayyyy better than the keyboard on my 2019 MacBook Air because my Mac has a butterfly keyboard instead of scissor switch keys like the magic keyboard. For the 11 inch it is a bit cramped but I dont mind it too much. Okay now im done, just get the damn thing, you won't regret it!!!

The best iPad key, At the worst price
After buying a new M2 iPad Pro (11”), I wanted to also get a keyboard for it. Along with a Apple Pencil. After looking at Logitech, which I would likely recommend over this for the price. Even though those are pretty costly too.The typing experience feels just like my Macbook, which has one of the best keyboards on a laptop. Add to that a great clickly trackpad that is good size, and comfortable to use.Not to mention, adding a extra USB-C port, which is great for charging the iPad while keeping it’s USB-C port open for faster transfer speeds. The keyboard as a case is well made, Very Apple as it weighs a lot compared to the iPad you put in it! Though the magnets hold the iPad securely, It’s easy to yank it off when you just want to hold your tablet.Backlit keys are great, very bright. And that’s about where the pro’s end… First and foremost, The price for this thing is insane! You’re very limited in viewing angles, and the fact that the keyboard has NO function keys?!?! That’s unforgivable!!!However, I’m so happy I bought the over priced keyboard. I really do enjoy it, and it’s added a ton of utility to my iPad. As with most things made by Apple, You get what you pay for. It’s a really solid addition to the iPad, with a few limitations, and lacks a few features it should have at this price point. If you need a keyboard that is close to a MacBooks, Then I can recommend this. Just try and find it on a sell.

Almost perfect!
It's a beautiful device that turns an iPad from a tablet into a true productivity device. The keyboard is beautiful and the key travel feels spot on. I strongly believe that Apple makes the best touchpads in the industry and the touchpad on this case is phenomenal. The case adds a little - but not a lot - of heft so the device is still sleek and relatively light and the iPad connects magnetically to the case with ease. The case even has a USB-C port for charging the iPad. A bunch of thought went into integrating the device with the operating system - using the touchpad in iOS the cursor snaps intuitively on clickable menus and buttons and it really feels like a premium experience. There's not much to criticize. It's obviously pricey but it is truly a premium device. While I kind of wish the case supported propping the device up in portrait mode, it doesn't detract from my strong positive feelings. This is as good a case as you can buy.

Works very very well
Bought this as a warehouse item in the hopes to make my ipad pro 11" (2018) a bit more productivity oriented, not knowing what to expect as my kids school has given keyboards to their school issues ipads and they were mehh ... the Magic Keyboard has a incredible keyboard feel, the trackpad seemlessly intergrates with ios better than I thought as I've connected it with a mouse before and the experience was only ok. The keyboard+trackpad of the Magic Keyboard is marvelous, the typing feel is very comfortable.. given its still smaller than the smallest laptop, so there's a tiny bit of adjustment but I'm not mis-hitting keys during email replies, chat programs or any form of typing required exercises. Its been 4 weeks of constant use because I brought it exclusively with me on vacation and I still very much enjoy its use from the hotels, planes, airports and whever I ended up.The cover is matted feel soft feeling cover, seems to pick up debris from a table but wipes off easily, wipes clea with moist towel easily.. so maintenance is good. Protection along the edges is non-existent like the Apple slim folio cases but the weight will be the biggest thing you would notice from this.If you have a need or want to stretch the functionality of the ipad this is a great product, was lucky to find a like-new Warehouse item that worked flawlessly... at full price it made me hesitate when it released 2020, but would consider the next gen when I finally replace this trusty Ipad pro.
