Foam in our couch seat cushions was worn out, thought about buying a new couch but decided to try "re-foaming" the seat cushions first. Was able to remove the old foam from the leather cases, carefully remove the polyester batting from the old cushion and adhere to a piece of this foam...I used an electric bread knife to cut the needed cushion pad from the roll. Then stuffed it all back in the case and gave it a try.This foam is pretty firm...it's exactly what I wanted but may not be for everybody. This, as well as stuffing additional polyester batting into the back cushions, has revitalized our old leather couch. We'll see how long it holds up but for now I'm very happy with how this has gone!

This is firm foam. I used it as a camp pad inside my 4Runner and it was almost too firm for a bed. It had a strong chemical odor for about 4 days and then dissipated. It worked great for what I needed. I am happy with the quality.

My old sofa cushions were flat and awful. These new cushions are super super super firm. It has been a couple of months since putting the new foam in my cushions. They have become a little less stiff. Either way, they are comfortable that someone could fall asleep on the sofa again. It doesn't hurt to sit and study or hang out with the family. Excellent product. Just be sure you are ready for stiff cushions. They fill out the cushion fabric very very nicely.

Very firm. If you are 300 pounds plus, this is good for you. I'm 130 pounds and it's hard as a rock. I'll put something soft on top of it.

A few people complain that it’s too stiff/hard, but that’s exactly what I like about it. Day 1: sitting it squishes down some, but laying on it, it barely compresses. That will change as it gets worn in (I’m sure), but I like the density.

I don't usually write reviews unless something is extremely bad or good. I was very hesitant to buy this foam after reading the "bad" reviews that the foam bought for a couch was horribly hard.I bought 2 of the 72" long pieces for an old futon frame I had.These foamer pieces were EXACTLY what I was looking for. Are they " firm"? Yes but that's exactly what I wanted. They are perfect for lounging to watch TV or visit. And, when they are used as a futon mattress I sleep blissfully. So much so my husband finds me sleeping on these foam cushions instead of being in bed with him.Thank you to the company! 5 stars - ABSOLUTELY!!!

I have a couch that due to noise, I sometimes have to use as a bed, and the cushions were awful. It's one of those Bermuda Triangle couches that when you sit on it, you sink into it, never to be seen again. This foam arrived smashed flat and rolled up so tightly that I originally thought it couldn't possibly be "firm" like they said, but after just a few minutes of expanding it unrolled and was everything they said it was, and well worth the price. The density is easily twice as firm as the cushions that came with the couch, and was easy to cut with a cheap electric carving knife. Didn't notice any odor problems either.

I purchased this so I would be able to lay on my back so I cut a hole so I can fit my bottom in the hole and be able to relax and sleep on my bed and the phone was firm enough for me to do this, I would buy this again loved it very much It was a savior.
