Fit: If you’re looking for a comfort fit, then move one size up (e.g., waist 36 overlaps with both xl and large — buy the xl for a more relaxed fit). On the other hand if you want something that is more fitted, go the other way as there’s enough elastic on the waist to accommodate.The feel is great and the fabric is very robust yet feels soft. There are Velcro adjustment belts on the side and lots of different pockets, including many with zippers. The front side pockets are deep as well so the risk of something easily falling out is low.Finally, I’ve used this for outdoor activities when the temperature was more than 100, and felt very comfortable.

Update after a few weeks of use:Really comfy but it sucks that there's no back pocket. I find myself flustered trying to stash my keys or phone somewhere really quick... The pockets are so deep that you really have to dig around for specific items in there.. Pocket dilemma aside, I tried 3 on in the same niche and price range and these are the clear winners. Super comfy 4 way stretch and semi elastic waistband. I wear a medium/32 but ordered large, I recommend ordering a size up so you can make use of the adjustable waistband. I thought the reflective pockets would look tacky from the photos but they don't look noticeable at all. These pants would be perfect if only they had a low profile back pocket

Best shorts I've ever owned! Look good and feel great - excellent for sports, working out and casual outings. While the sizing chart might suggest XL or XXL, I had to return my first two orders to get a size L. That's probably been the right size for me all along (a 36-38 in waist), but other fabrics (nylon, cotton) didn't stretch enough to handle squats or mountain biking/cycling. So, I've always had slightly baggy shorts. [A thought on ordering: if you load up the pockets, the shorts will stretch a little at the waist and might start to slide down. I didn't find the waist straps to be that useful, but a wide nylon belt works very well. If trying to decide between two sizes, go with the smaller one as the stretch will accommodate to your needs. I've also noted a very small residual stretch over dozens of uses.]The pockets are well thought out, especially the thigh zippered ones that make it easy to access your wallet while driving.I've even replaced my black golf shorts with the same color in this design. No one notices the black accents or the cargo pockets and zippers. One fellow club member like them so much that he just ordered the same pair.I now own 3 pairs (black, gray, and green) to go with different shirts, but they're worth it at the price, which is about half of many of the other pairs I've previously bought that are collecting dust in the closet.

The material is just very prone to collecting dust like debris. I'm not use to wearing shorts but tired of over heating in the summer and during my workouts. So I finally gave in to wearing shorts. This is my first pair, and they fit better than expected. Very comfortable, not over snug and not to short. Has a good look to them and the pockets are an excellent plus. My cell phone and keys fit easily into them and doesnt feel awkward at all. So these won me over on shorts. I can definitely buy more of these, I never thought I'd be saying I'd be buying more shorts so that's a big thing coming from me.

First off, I’ve got a 34” waist and the L are a little bit snug while the XL are a little bit loose, so if you were like me, you can wear either size just fine since the material is quite stretchy. I have both sizes and wear them both. If I’m going for an athletic walk, I wear L; when I am going to Pancho’s All You Can Eat Mexican Buffet, I wear XL.That said, these shorts are so comfortable and look great after a month of summer wearing almost all day, pretty much every day. The finished product looks well made, has convenient access zippered cargo pockets that haven’t “bagged out” after use. There are no hip pockets, but I carry my Magpul wallet in my front pocket.I’ve worn them doing yard work, and they dry quickly. I’ve worn them shopping and they look nice enough to not make the Loss Prevention team follow me through the store. I’ve worn them with a nice shirt to restaurants and they look presentable; haven’t tried them at any five-star places because I’m smart enough to not do that.Very comfortable and seem very durable so far. Wife says she doesn’t like the black strips, but I believe that’s where the stretch support is beefier, and it doesn’t bother me. I have a black pair as well, and the stripe isn’t as noticeable.

I was very skeptical of this product because of the huge flood of cheap and "cheaply made" shorts to hit amazon and did not expect much. I was very surprised at how well they fit and so far, seem to be fairly durable. Don't get me wrong, they do not have any rip stop features that you may find in higher priced products but for regular hiking or for wearing over a pair of bike shorts, they may work just fine for light to medium abuse. I would class these as an adequate and comfortable pair of shorts for light to medium durability.

As some who struggles to find a decent pair of shorts that last, these seem great so far. Very comfortable and lightweight, lots of adjustment which is great as I've lost 4 stone and was worried about ordering the correct size... These will stretch with me! The pockets are brilliant, you enter them from the top not the side, so your phone doesn't fall out when you sit down, plus some zip pockets too. So pleased I've ordered a second pair.

Worn them a few times now and they are really comfortable and the quality leads me to believe they will last well. Lots of pockets as well

Comfortable, light and stretch. These are excellent and will buy another pair, quality looks decent and love the velcro adjustment to fine tune the width. I'm a 30" waste and the medium fitted well not tight and some room, I think these would be perfect up to 32".

I wasn't really expecting too much for the price to be honest but pleasantly surprised.Quality feels pretty good compared to my £70 MTB shorts,feel comfortable and are very cool/breathable!I'm a 34"/86cm waist and the XL fits perfectly.I'm going to order a second pair!
