Old and Dried Up
I should have listened to the other reviews. The kit was old and some of the paint/etc. was dried up so I could not use the marbleizing kit at all. The foam paint brushes had broken apart. I just put the whole thing in the garbage. It should have not been sold to me.

Definitely would not recommend.
The product did arrive on time but must have been on the self for a very long time. All the paints were thick globs of goo. It was impossible to use. Since I opened all the bottles and it was not expensive I did not return it and just threw it out. Definitely would not recommend.

Faux Finish Marbelizing Kit
I have not as yet used this particular item. I purchased it to replace the Faux kit that I used up to marbelize a column type stand and rought iron railing. Great product.

good product but discontinued to my knowledge
It is a good product, however it hasn't been available for a few years. The product was old and the paints dried out. I wish they made it again.

Here is what u need to know!!
I love these things. Used them about 40 years ago when they first came out. BUT Plaid discontinued making them and now (as some of u have discovered) these are old and dried up and crumbling. They are overpriced on Amazon and I bought 3 of them on Ebay for a lot less money. And here's the kicker -- once you have one you have all of the colors for that kit, etc so you can just buy them in the craft section of Walmart and save a lot of money for future projects!!! And you can mix your own color combinations as well. Mostly you need a base color, 2 shades of an over color, extender and retarder (to speed and/or slow drying time), sponge brush and a feather. I also recommend a good cover of polyeurathane varnish to protect your project. Have fun...
