Just Ok
Bought this because I needed an OS of android 8 or above. The phone was ok, even kinda nice but would not connect to the internet off wifi. As soon as I left the house I could not get online. Even if I connected to a restaurant, it would not load the internet. The sd card reader was broken, put an sd card in and it did something to the card. Had to throw the card out as it would never format again. perfectly good card, I pulled from my camera, gets corrupted after I insert into the phone. Anyway, besides those two things, which I had to return it because of....the phone was nice. I use straight talk and got a message that it won't work after Feb 2022 as something to do with the 5g rays...I dont remember...volt was it.

Faster than G4, but too slabbish
Finally got a "new" (3 y/o) phone to replace my 6 y/o LG G4, which seemed okay (though too big) at first, but I grew to love. I miss the curved leather back. The ability to identify the front / back by feel was handier than I realized. The S9, while it processes faster, feels pretty much the same, front, back, top, bottom. I'm sure it was some designer's good idea, but usability is more important to me than design awards. The several steps required to wake and unlock the phone seem cumbersome (find the side button, oops, other side, maybe, push the button (which wakes the screen, hopefully), swipe up, enter your code). It shows alerts when the screen wakes, but touching them doesn't mean you'll go to that item when you get the thing unlocked. Haven't found a way to do that.Bixby. I did a Google search for, well, I typed in "remove" and "remove Bixby" popped up. That should be a clue to that topic.I guess it's probably a decent phone. The loudspeaker sound is definitely better than on the LG (which was always disappointing).

Love it but company needs to send startup instructions
Its fast. Fingerprint was not easy, so backed out of using it. Quick delivery from company. Very slight blemishes. VERY HAPPY

2 scratches on screen but works well
Purchased the purple S9, arrived when stated with the charger and the sim card tool. Pretty clean, back had no noticeable scratches but the screen had 2 noticeable scratches/nicks. Previous owner definitely didn't use a screen protector.Started up the phone and all has been working well.

Great product
Have found the Galaxy S9 to be a great phone. Smaller form factor is nice. The quality and reliability is above-average for an Android phone. I recommend.

Phone works just as the 2 other S9's in the house. Screen has a few small, not scratches but almost little 1/4 inch light cuts in it. May have been was just hit by something often but I do not notice unless I hold at angle. Works great and has about 80% of the battery life which is about right. Only odd thing is that when I put in my card the AT&T logo came on. Then it said it was not compatible and would need to reboot. It took about 10 min and the Verizon logo came up and phone worked. Happy with.
