The MS18 was always a big dream for me. I finally had enough money to buy this monster flashlight and i must say I was not disapointed at all. It’s even brighter than I expected! I’d recommend it to anyone who needs a powerful torch…..keep it away from kids though!

Excellent Lumen output. Built with aerospace grade aluminum, has a great handle grip along with a list of features displayed on the innovative Oled; 8 brightness modes including strobe. Includes a indicator light for the power button, voltage and battery status display, a lockout mode and a fan cooling mode. All easily controlled with the use of the power button. And did i forget to mention this flashlight can also tailstand and withstand heavy rain in use?Only con is the battery itself. It does not offer fast charging meaning it takes a really long time to charge and Imalent hasnt created and or offered a battery pack with a USB type C fast charging port for the Ms18. Would be great if we customers can get more accessories for the Ms18 considering no Ms18 tripod is offered, no protective cover, case or shell offered, no leather strap offered, no other battery pack options offered. Come on Imalent!Unfortunately, i cant rate it higher than 4 stars because the box came damaged so i am not sure if i got a used or refubished product. I can only rate from the presenation i have been given. If this is not how the box is then i would really appreciate amazon / imalent send me a brand new box for my flashlight since i paid a good fortune for it.

The hype and outlandish claims are not wrong - this thing is so much brighter than anything else I have come across. I have a Olight intimidator which I thought was pretty amazing, but if you shine it at a wall and then point the Imalent at the same spot, the Olight beam simply disappears. Downsides - fiddly to operate, gets very hot very quickly on high power settings, handle is quite thick so would be awkward for someone with small hands to hold onto. Only usable on full power if the air is clear, the slightest trace of mist or moisture and the light reflects back. Ability to focus would have been good. Would not use it for dog walking in case I accidentally shone it at the dog and blinded it.
