Perfect match to OEM
Same brand as OEM, just doesn’t have TOYOTA printed on it. Also cost is way less. Installed on my 2001 Tacoma 2.7. Located under the intake manifold, not an easy task. Took me 1 1/2 hours, professional could probably do it in a quarter of that time. My Blue Driver diagnostic dongle was correct, this was the defective part. It’s been months since installation without another CHECK ENGINE light. Super satisfied.If you’re not very mechanically inclined, I would recommend professional installation.

Perfect fit for my 04 Tacoma
The part was a perfect fit, the engine design by Toyota was the challenge. It would really help to have smaller hands to do this job quicker. Solved the check engine light right away.

Solved the P402 code in a 1999 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L
I have a 1999 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L that had an stubborn P402 code with sluggish acceleration. I tried a couple of different things that did not work but, this vacuum switching valve solved the problem immediately. The part is easy enough to change for a do it yourself job. The VSV is bolted to the intake manifold. it's a little tight in there, but straightforward. I removed the wiring harness bracket to give myself some room. Easy job, maybe 15 minutes not including the time it takes to find it and remove the electrical connector.

Addressed 3rd Gen Toyota 4runner p401 CEL Code
I have a 2000 Toyota 4Runner with the 2.7L 4cyl engine and my car intermittently threw a check engine light for a couple of months and threw a P401 code consistently. After the light came on and stayed on, I researched the forums and people suggested replacing the VSV and that Aisin is an OE manufacturer. This was super easy to replace and looks identical to the toyota VSV that I replaced. I installed the new vsv 1 month ago and the light has not come on after putting 2000 miles. Definitely recommending this again to my fellow 4runner buddies if they run into the p401/p402 codes.

Not the right part
weirdly like another review on this...didn't fit the four runner at all...too small and not the right flanges...99 four runner with the 4 cyl engine...still looking...
