I managed to get one use out of this shirt as a baselayer underneath my gi. After pulling it out of its first wash I noticed a string 3 feet long caught around the drawstring of a pair of running shorts that I had put in the same load of laundry. The hem along the bottom of the shirt has come undone already. The rest of the load was other workout clothes; nothing exceptionally abrasive that would explain the damage to the stitching. Regardless, it's disappointing that this shirt failed after so little use. The fit was perfect, and I was ready to buy another shirt in grey, but now I wish I had gone with another brand.Edit: Within a day of posting the original review, the kind folks over at the Optimal Human team got in touch to apologize for the defective product, and informed me that a brand new replacement was headed my way. I received it a couple days later, along with another apology note. This sort of customer service is heartwarming to receive, and I will definitely look for their products in the future.

I remember seeing a review for Optimal Human compression shirts before the first one I bought that said they were a little smaller than the garment size indicated. I bought a Medium, the size I usually get for shirts these days, and found it fit comfortably.The next time I wanted one, I ordered a small, kind of on a whim. It actually feels better. It feels like a better supporting shirt, and it's just as comfortable for me as the medium. I'm not sure what's up with that review that suggested ordering up a size.The first of them I bought came with a nice drawstring bag with an Optimal Human logo on it; the second did not. It was an unexpected surprise to get the bag with the first, so I don't count the lack of bag with the second against it.I like these a lot. They're my favorite compression shirts, and worth the 50% increased cost over the others I have. The necks on others relax after a few months or so of wearing them regularly, but I haven't had that problem with my two Optimal Human shirts. If I want another within the next year, I'll probably get another Optimal Human compression shirt.

AMAZING DEAL!! At 6' 3" inches and 275lbs, Im bigger than your average bear. Initially I was hesitant about the XL option. Fortunately my concerns were put to rest once I tried on the product. The high quality of fit and design (moisture wicking, underarm stitching, microbial defense) stuns me! It feels like a second skin, its breathes, I'm cooled during workouts, slipping it on and off is a comfortable experience. I've run, cycled, wrestled, weight lifted etc etc.. I can honestly say, it's my favorite workout gear purchase ever! I have also washed mine a couple of times before leaving a review, just to see if it holds up. It's come out like new every time! In the vein of "Every little bit helps", something about putting on a second skin of Optimal Human inspires me to be more, to try harder, to become my "Optimal Human" best. Thanks guys for an amazing product, brand and design! You actually care. (Packaging was an elegant touch too!)

I have a pile of rashguard/compression shirts that I cycle through pretty rapidly. I primarily wear them when rolling jiu jitsu and more and more, weight training. They all are pretty much the same in terms of quality, fit and what they are designed to do - there really haven't been any innovative frontrunners. Then I found Optimal Human. It has quite the name - but after wearing this compression shirt through a few rolls and some weight training - the brand name and quality really align. The designers really took the extra time and care when engineering the ventilation and overall stitch work (it's pretty apparent they do some sort of combat sport or other intense athletics) - it's just designed for the athlete that wants more out of their gear. I think this brand is really going to do big things and can't wait to see what the next offering is.

I was searching for compression shirts on Amazon and found this one. It's cheaper than all of the compression shirts sold on this site; it also includes Prime shipping, which is always good. I like the simplistic design of the shirt. I also love the underarm gusset which makes the shirt breathable. I have yet to find another compression shirt with that feature. The shirt fit as expected. I'm 6'1", 220 lbs and I'm built like a pro wrestler. The large fit me perfectly. I wore it for the first time the other day when I lifted weights. So far, so good. I recommend this product for anyone searching for a compression shirt.

I love this product!! .. I had to return it only because I got the incorrect size for my self. I will reorder the correct size. I also purchased one for a friend of mine. His size was perfect and he loves this compression shirt! He loves the fit, very comfortable and fits like a glove. He can't wait to wear it to the gym. He sent me a picture of him in it and he looks great!! Can't wait to get my replacement!! The material, the design and even the packaging is great! The shirt has its own carrying bag!Quality, design, material and price absolutely incredible!!

There are a lot of compression shirts out there... I should know, I've had most. But I'm positive that none of them fit as good as the Optimal Human. Literally my all time favorite, the OH molds to your body like a second skin yet feels extremely smooth and comfortable. Mesh panels in the armpits help with ventilation and cooling. Overall, the best compression shirt I've ever worn. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for this type of shirt.

This fit perfect for me. I'm 5'9 and 180 pounds. The medium definitely did the job. I used it for the first time at parkour training and it felt great. I didn't feel constricted at all and each of my movements flowed. The gear pack was a pleasant surprise.
