Excellent worked exactly as promised
I always end up getting bitten on holiday. Recently went to Thailand and took some of 5is based on recommendations and also on the reviews on here. I applied this everyday before my sunscreen (as per WHO guidelines) waited ten mins for it to absorb which is a minor faff and then applied sunscreen. I did not get bitten once in the two weeks we were there which is a first for me. My wife on,y got bitten one day when she didn’t apply any to her legs.I will definitely (and have already) recommending this to friends and family and this will now be a staple I’m my holiday kit.Yes it’s a little greasy at first, I never noticed a bad small (it’s way better than the aerosol sprays I’ve used in the past) but you can’t always have your cake and eat it, plus once I have sunscreen on (which is greasy lol) you don’t really notice.Easy five stars from me.

Great protection from, Mosquitoes etc, doesn't smell so nice but DEET never does.
I bought this for a recent trip to the Dominican Republic and am glad i did. There were a lot of Mosquito's where ever we went. This stuff is oily and doesn't smell to nice, but that unfortunately is the nature of products with DEET in them. However for effectiveness against the blood sucking pests (Vampires not included) this really is good stuff. We bought some Jungle Formula from the Airport a couple of years ago and one bottle was nearly as much as the price of these three, and it was awful. My partner was feasted upon every night. Not so with this however. the only time my partner got bitten was when she decided she didn't want to wear this stuff. I wore it mainly in the evenings and managed to not get bit at all.

Got you, you devil
I don't love this substance HOWEVER having used insect repellent for many years, I have yet to find anything as effective as this "foul" substance, whether it be in Costa Rica, Panama, Sri Lanka, Southern Europe, Norwegian forest (yes they have some nasty little devils there) or the ultimate heathen biter, the West Coast of Scotland - this stuff helps to prevent getting bitten by insects wherever you might visit - it doesn't prevent you getting bitten with the occasional one getting through, but it really does work very well and so 5 stars.Downsides? Yes:+ Smell+ Texture after application+ Removed the numerals off every camera I have ever ownedUsed it for years and with a journey to equatorial rainforest in a little over 2 weeks, three bottles of this will be the first thing into my bag.

One on the best insect repellents on the market
One on the best insect repellents on the market. Make sure you spray on your hands first and then rub over the area you wish to protect. It is a bit greasy but it soon soaks in. Try to avoid watch straps and jewelry, it took some of the colour out of my sandals and I was left with coloured feet, but they washed clean. If possible apply in the open air.

Strong and seems to work well.
I was a bit confused about this because I thought DEET only went up to 10%. I took this with me to the pacific coast of Mexico at the start of the rainy season and it kept the mosquitos at bay so whatever it is it clearly works. It has a very strong smell and stings if you get it on the lips. It may not be appropriate for children but I don't have any so check with somebody.

All three bottles leaked everywhere
I ordered three of these and all three bottles leaked like crazy. The product itself seems to work fine, but it’s ridiculous that a product so toxic leaks so badly. The bottle itself says to limit contact with skin etc, which is impossible when everything inside your bag is coated in it. This photo shows the amount leaked out over a two day period. Will not buy again.

Excellent
Excellent product, I hardly got bitten in India and I usually get covered in bites on every holiday. I will always use this from now on. Only downer is it takes a while to sink in

Lethal but effective.
Absolutely lethal but it does keep the bugs off ... melts everything else though if you put too much on. Take note.
