Great ashtray!!
I bought this for my mother, to solve the problem of ashes blowing around while she smokes on her patio with fans going. She loved the first one so much, that I bought 3 more; 2 for her guests to use, and 1 to keep at my house for her when she visits. They have worked out wonderfully, we could not be more pleased. They not only prevent the ash from blowing around as much, due to wind or fans, but they also keep the smoke more contained while people are actively smoking, hide the unsightly butts once they are put out (since they fall down into the reservoir) and keep the stale ash smell to a minimum. All that, and they look stylish and are easy to clean.I would whole heatedly recommend this ashtray.

Overall good, effective and heavy ashtray. I do however have some concern on how the threads will hold up in the long term on the detachable rest pad.

Very nice!
I am impressed with Newness Stainless! This ashtray is entirely stainless steel, heavy, sturdy, windproof. The finishing and the solidity of it is satisfying to behold. The little (removable) thingy in the middle means there's always a place to smush your cigarette out, even if the bottom is filled with a pack's worth of butts -- and it (the large) could fit that, easily. The wind proofing design does keep the table cleaner. It doesn't have a non-slip bottom, but it's weighty enough that it's not going to slide unless things get really crazy (like hurricane on a small boat crazy).Bonus: easy to empty, just jiggle over the trash -- the middle thingy does not impede emptying. I'll be looking to see if Newness has other products that I can use.

I wanted an ashtray for my deck that when I have smokers over they could put out cigarettes and the butts wouldn't blow all over the place. This is perfect. I only empty it on trash day so my house doesn't smell like cigarettes and it holds enough that I don't have to deal with it all week. It looks nice on the deck side table and with the wind I haven't had a problem with cigarette butts blowing around or the ashtray blowing over. Works great

My husband and friends are smokers. Needed something weight heavy so it would stay put on the front porch. Super easy to empty too. Very happy with the product. No complaints.
