For very dry, sensitive skin and eczema
This was recommended for our daughter when she was a baby by a pediatric dermatologist when we lived in England and we are so glad we can order it here in the US. This emollient is great for very dry sensitive skin when creams and lotions aren't good enough or cause stinging. This worked wonders for our daughter in keeping her skin moisturized and protected. It doesn't have unnecessary ingredients therefore very unlikely to aggravate the skin. Emollient is for people with very dry skin - otherwise use the cream. We tried using Aquafor here in the US but it seemed to aggravate the eczema in our case. Aquafor is a little greasier but not totally dissimilar in texture to Epaderm. Epaderm is a little thicker and less greasy but seems to absorb better. Epaderm is definitely worth trying. It is one part of the care regime for eczema in addition to using an air purifier, humidifier in winter and diet changes.

Awesome product!! Should be in every household!!
Amazing product for people going through topical steroid withdrawal and eczema. Affordable and better than any lotion or ointment that we have tried, n we have used just about everything. Being from very expensive to plain Vaseline. This can be used in many ways n less harmful to washing machine and clothes than Vaseline. Has no harmful ingredients so skin friendly. We use it also for several different things, like chapped hands from content washing hands or dishes, on rough spot of feet, and to protect skin from anything that would be harmful to it. Feel like a protective coating on skin but not heavy or thick. Will always have this in our house. I have highly recommended this to friends and family already.

Great for eczema sufferers
I bought this for the first time during the unusually harsh winter. My poor skin was so dry and any moisturizers i used were soaked up immediately and did me no good. If you suffer from eczema, even slightly, you know that your skin renews itself so quickly that there is barely any time for the skin to replenish itself before its renewing again, which leads to dry, itchy, flaky skin. Well....this cream will help! After a cool (NOT HOT) shower, i lather this on thick...it is sticky and can feel greasy but thats what helps your skin soak it in little by little, not in one big gulp. The next day, my skin feel so soft and smooth...I have now been using this for at least 3 months and my skin is doing soooooo much better! No more super dry patches, no flaking, lighter redness....i feel like me again. I will NOT let myself face another winter without this emollient!

Work fine
I have excema and I use this in the winter to keep my bodys from getting really dry, it’s working pretty well as well as other products that I use, I don’t think it’s really special it works similar to Shea butter to me. It has the same consistency and thickness. But I do like it and I will continue using it on the really cold and dry days.

different kind of ointment, give it a try
very interesting ointment, unlike most. I was looking for something without petroleum (I believed I've developed a sensitivity). This is very good overall, but I don't think it provides lasting moisture. Maybe combine it with something else, but good value for price, especially coming from England.

Cleared up drool rash
This was recommended to me by someone from the UK. My baby had a bumpy drool rash on his face for a few weeks and this cleared it up in a few days.

Good
Consistency is very thick. I had to add a thinner emollient for my use. Depending on how you plan to use it, you may not have to do what I did. Overall it is very good and keeps moisture locked all the way through the night.

Expensive but excellent
Bought as an alternative to aquaeous cream. It's much more expensive - about three times the cost and slightly pricier than Zeroderm - but it does an excellent job. It's worth trying for anyone with extremely dry or sensitive skin, eczema or psoriasis. It's very much thicker than aquaeous cream, so it goes further, and you can use it to bathe/shower, to clean the scalp, or as a moisturiser. (It needs a lot of rinsing from the hair.)

Banish hard thick skin.
Doing a partly manual job I was aware of a build-up of hard thick skin on heels, elbows, knees which can eventually dry out, crack and give problems. I have used this to soften and hydrate the skin in these areas.I understand that this paraffin wax basically covers the skin and stops it drying out.It certainly works for me and these areas are now normal i.e. soft and smooth..As I apply it at night I perhaps should mention that it will be transferred to bed-sheets etc. which is only a slight disadvantage I feel.

Excellent for psoriasis....
A must have for psoriasis. I use the Epaderm cream for showering (use hands NO sponge) and ointment after. A bit sticky but not uncomfortable. It's excellent! Been using the cream alone for over a year and it really helped, but thought I would try the ointment too, so glad I did. Don't need to use the steroid ointment from doctor half as much. So highly recommended...

Helped keep my daughter sane during winter flare-ups.
The cold weather has made my daughter's dry skin/eczema awful to deal with. Luckily, she only has a scant few patches here and there, but the ones on her face (namely her eyelids and small patches on both cheeks) were bothering her, as they'd be incredibly dry and flakey. Epaderm kept the skin moisturised and helped to relieve the symptoms of dryness. Coupled with some anti-allergy tablets, the dryness has reduced dramatically in severity and the patches are soft and lovely again.

Good
Bought for my husband to use in addition to his regular E45 cream but he did not like it. I started applying it on my dry hands. It is an oily and a bit heavy cream which does not penetrate the skin immediately but if you apply it before bedtime you will wake up with a baby soft skin. I will continue using it. Overall good product.
