SKYVIK SIGNI One Mobile Camera 25mm Macro Lens Kit Black

This review is for those who are serious about macro photography. This lens is obviously a better choice than other mobile macro lenses available at the market. The sharpness is quite good at the center but it declines drastically when the subject is placed in the corners. And the magnification isn't as par my expectations. I am using it with my note 7 pro, whose primary camera is 12mp. So I would suggest to buy this lens if you are using a mobile camera equipped with 16mp or more, to get better results. Because you can't zoom in if you are using 48mp or 64mp modes of your camera.

Heard and saw great things about this macro lens & was waiting to buy the product from a long time, but atlast when bought and receive the product, I was not happy enough with the results... I don't know, the product is designed like this or the issues were only with my unit or not compatible with my phone, that's why gave 3 stars.[P.S.: I do some serious photography, I know how to use macro lens, ALL THE SHOTS WERE TAKEN WITH Mi9, {imported from China, 2019 flagship}]PROS:# Excellent built quality, heavy (which is proves its quality)# Accessories came in the box were good enough.# Attachment with the phone was pretty sturdy, it wasn't shaking at all like other chinese lenses.CONS:# I had to go pretty close, for focussing I mean less than 3cm. I know I shd get close enough for sharpness and focus but not this much, then how would I click insects' pic.# There was vignetting on both above and below corners. (Attached the pics)# Focus wasn't sharp enough, though I was clicking of a standstill object. Still I tried to click few good pics which had the sharpness I want.MY POINT IS: OK, I AGREE THIS MAYBE THE BEST MACRO LENS AVAILABLE RI8 NOW FOR MOBILE, BUT CONSIDERING LACK OF SHARPNESS & ISSUE WITH FOCUSING, I DON'T THINK 2600/- IS WORTH SPENDING BEHIND THISThought only my lens had issues, but later found other two reviews facing same probs. HENCE RETURNING.

The lens is very good with good sharpness and detail, needs a little bit of practice to stabilize your hands but does the job well. The magnification levels are good and guess it’s 25X. You will not get any black border like other lenses which is good. Distance for capturing is around 2CM which is short but if you want really close shots you need to go that close. I think eye shot of fly will be a little difficult but close to possible. The packaging was very neat and premium. Checkout some I had clicked and decide for yourself the quality, shot with iphone 11 with around 2-2.5X zoom in mobile.

It's just not good!Used this lens with google pixel 2xl, samsung galaxy s8 and oneplus 7.The results were just not satisfactory at all.And yes, I do know how to use a macro lens.

Genuinely when I received the product I was not happy due to its heavy weight and build quality.. may be I was expecting more due to the price of the product. However when I clicked my first shot I understood the capability of the lens.. this is fantastic. The diffuser is perfectly designed and avoids shadow or reflection on the subject. Rather it also helps in spreading the light equally helping shadows in the area to blow up little bit.Diffuser is designed in such a way that if it is plugged in the lens.. it becomes perfect focal length for focusing on lens.Cons:- I feel if the lens could have been little bigger in size to give it kore professional look- also I wish the coating on lenss could be little better- storage bag supplied along with the lens could be little better- the spring of the clip could have been better (mm ore stronger), not that big a problem, but comparing with my other lens (insingia)Pros:- Have already mentioned in my introductory note- very good build quality of lens- very good focussing- diffuser is an added advantage to give you that professional feel and works well during focus, and spreading light_ excellent lens.. it took my heart awayNeed to know will there be support provided if the diffuser becomes loose (with time) ?

in less than 10hrs i received product to my door. below is my start rating for the products.1. Packaging --- 5/52. value for money --- 5/53. build quality . --- 5/54. ease of use . --- 4/5 Fit in to your primary lens is bit difficult, camera and lens hole should match to each other. once it got fit its gives an awesome result.

**As in the attached picture,it left a SCRATCH on my brand new Samsung s20+.Reason- Dust particle might have stuck with the clip.**So always clean everything before use.Pros & Cons ::-1.Picture quality is good,the cover,lens cap are good.2.Both in sunlight and artificial light it worked good.3.This lens is for capturing really small objects/subjects. I tried capturing butterflies with it,it is nearly impossible since butterfly would be a bit bigger subject for the lens.4.Also note that, You have to get the lens too close to the subject to capture.(This was the case with my phone at least)

The unboxing experience was truly amazing! Kindly go through the unboxing and review vidoes for better understanding. Signi one being like the flagship series of lens of Skyvik didn't disappoint me even a bit. Skyvik Signi One has better built quality, better lens and over all magnification is way better than the 3 in 1 which Skyvik offers.The lens diffuser actually acts as a scale of where your subject has to be in order to to have pin point focus. That was the main reason for that to be included. Kudos to thatIf you're just looking for a macro lens, it's worth spending over the Signi One over the other lens.
