I normally wear a size 10-1/2 and a wide shoe (2E) usually fits better. Seeing as these were more of a pointed toe shoe, I went with a size 11 just to be safe. Amazon Prime got them here in two days (as expected) and I tried them on. Fit perfect, if not just a touch big, again, as expected, but the width was fine for me. Everyone complaining about the smell is making a mountain out of a mole-hill. Yes, they do have a "rubber tire" kind of smell, but the soles are rubber (I think), so that is to be expected. And, in order to smell the rubber smell, I had to literally hold them about a foot from my nose. So, since they were going to be worn on my feet and not my head, it was not a problem. I did not wear them around the house to break them in, I put them on for a wedding two days after getting here and wore them from noon to midnight and I never knew they were there. Very comfortable, not stiff, soft feel when walking, quiet, stylish and elegant. I was the best man at the wedding and the groom was complaining about his shoes after about 2 hours. I found this to be a great purchase and well worth the money.

My 17 yr old picked these for his jr prom. He wanted a shoe with some design, rather than just plain & shiny. The shoes did have a plastic, rubber smell that was noxious. I had read other posts about this too. I put powder in the shoes & sprayed febreeze onto some paper towels and ran it over the entire inside of the shoe. I then put lemon juice on some paper towels and washed it over the rubber soles & heels. I also put them outside for several hours. They still had a smell, but was tolerable. My son wore them for a few hours prior to the prom to break them in. For $25, he can wear these for special occasions. He normally wears a size 12 sneaker and this size 12 fit well with a dress sock. He didn't get any blisters and said they were semi comfortable. Note- he only wears sneakers ! Delivery was a day early

First off let me start by saying the shoe fits well and it is comfortable. Like others have said there is a smell from the souls being rubber, not bad but noticeable. Also like others have said there is a problem with the little gold medallions, they are only one handed so that means on one side the name is legible and when they use it on the other shoe for it to look the same the name will be upside down. So if you turn it so the name is readable then it looks like they put the wrong with medallion the wrong shoe. So leave it alone and live with it because if anybody can read the writing when you're standing that would be incredible. Now I won't be wearing this with $1000 suit but they are more than good enough to be worn with pants, shirt and a tie for a wedding.

I bought these for my son for his senior prom last month. Last year he rented a pair of shoes for more than we paid to purchase these. This year, I told him not to waste money renting any of it. I told him I ordered prom shoes for him and he was somewhat skeptical but when they came in, he was thrilled! They look really nice on. He said they were comfortable too, and he wore them for quite a few hours. I was really pleased with this purchase. I imagine they'd also do well for weddings, etc.

I get a lot of compliment to my shoes. Fits as expected and comfy for running Business errunds. Look pretty professional and nice.

Visually the dress shoes are very stylish. When compared to other dress shoe brands that are considered "top" brands in design, I would consider OUOUVALLEY dress shoes equally as attractive.Only thing I had noticed as a con would be the shoe lace area. When lacing up the shoe, laces and the lace hole area does not make the shoes feel tight which may go along with it being a bit large in size. Also the quality of the shoe's laces are not very good quality, feel as though they might not hold up in the future. I am a size 10 which was the size I had purchased. After some time wearing the shoe no problems with anything ripping or tearing, the shoe is not falling off my foot its just a little loose.I would recommend a size down and possibly purchase different laces for it. I am very satisfied with the visual attraction, it can easily be worn at weddings and other formal settings.

This is my second brown shoes for my formal wear which has been great (actually this is my favorite brown shoes for formal wear).I can feel the sole very close to the ground but this is not an issue. One could just insert a shoe sole if concerned but for me it is not an issue and it feels strong enough for me. I wear at least once a month, so I would not recommend for daily wear. It is great!

These are honestly some of the best dress shoes I've owned. Most I've owned, be they $200 or $20, have tried to rub holes in some part of my feet. These are just as comfortable, if not a bit more comfortable, than my current favorite pair of Cole Hahn dress shoes. I imagine for the price you loose longevity, but who cares really. Just set your expectations and you'll be fine.
