I bought this for an alternative way to put my hair up. I'm pregnant and can no longer stand the heat of my hair on my neck. These clips are so small not even a child could use them. Thank you so much for wasting my time and money. I was so looking forward to these hair clips, and now I'm equally disgusted and disappointed.

These came up in a search for "flexi clips" to hold my french twist. They shouldn't have been in the search since they don't flex, but...ok. These are solid metal and won't bend at all around the twist, which I knew from the description. I bought them anyway since they were so pretty and I thought I could at least use them for a half-up style. They wouldn't work for that, either. As it was, only a small amount of hair would fit under the clip, and then the metal stick wouldn't hold it, it just slipped right out. They're metal, so of course they don't flex at all around the hair. The metal stick itself caught in my hair because it was flaking along the molded seam and very rough. I wouldn't recommend these for hair. Get a nice celtic knot brooch instead and glue it to a thick hair barrette--that's what I ended up doing!

I am very happy with these hair pins. They are smaller than you would expect based on the pictures. They will work best for people with thinner or fine hair because of their size. I found it helps if you secure your hair with a hair tye and then thread the stick through your hair just above the tye. This keeps the hair pin in place and keeps it from coming lose. This would also help people with thicker hair use them because they would not have to put all their hair inside the smaller space between the pin.

Cheap quality and product. Overpriced for what you get as well as poorly made. Black paint rubs off on your hands when you handle it. Holds very little hair. Looks pretty though, can’t imagine them lasting. Not worth the money.

I have been searching for a cute way to keep my hair pulled back while I’m working and I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. I have shoulder length hair and both sides of my head are shaved, so this definitely adds a touch of femininity when I’m rocking my momhawk.

I bought these to wear to a friend’s wedding. My hair is so fine that it doesn’t hold things very well, but the smaller one stayed in my ponytail just fine. Both items are beautiful and look just like the picture.

I really liked these barretts they are pretty and look cute in my hair. the last time I wore the triangle one I know I slid it on right and it slid off the end of the stick fell off at some point either at the store or walking through a apartment complex during the delivery. Not going to wear the other one again until maybe I glue it on a real barrett clip.

I have thin hair. Female pattern hair loss in my mid 40s thin hair. You can see my scalp thin.These are unusably small even for me. I even tried sectioning off the top part of my hair, thinking I'd keep them for that purpose after I found I couldn't put all of my hair up in them. Nope. Not possible. The sticks are too short & the cage to shallow. Even if I'd used a hair band first & not tried to weave the stick through my hair properly (which would have been frustrating, but even so) one might have fit over a ponytail but the other would have been too small even for that. I didn't buy them for ponytails. I don't put my hair up that way often it tends to pull at the thinning spot too much.I'm not even sure they'd work for a child. Maybe. If that child also had very thin hair. And didn't move around a lot & shake them loose. In other words, these aren't likely to work for anyone.Which is a disappointment. They are cute and I had intended to buy more. I use sticks in my hair more often than anything else. I like the designs. The metal isn't amazing quality but it didn't seem too horrible either. If these had fit I would have used them regularly.I genuinely can't imagine how anyone is using these unless it's over a small ponytail. I'd really love to find something similar in a larger size, until then, I'm returning these. :(

I ordered silver but when they arrived they are gold. Nice enough but not the colour I wanted.
