This is a great Card Reader. SD (Secure Digital) 4-in-1 card readers are currently the most widely used memory cards for removable storage. It can also be used to just transfer information between devices. It is comparable with Android, iPhone, IPad, Mac, and PC as well. It works great with most digital devices including digital cameras.Using it is as easy as plugging it in and its small size makes it totally versatile and easy to store in your laptop bag or purse. The USB-A, Lightning & type C plugins each have clear covers for protection that snap in place for storage. The transfer is fast whether it is files or photos. I would highly recommend this Card Reader for it’s speed and versatility.

I just received the card reader yesterday so I can only give my initial impressions. I’m rating this a 4 for now because I haven’t had it long enough to do a full evaluation. Out of the box, this seems like a good, solidly-built reader that does all it claims to do. I inserted it into my 2016 iPad Pro and it immediately prompted me to download the xDisk app. I opened the app and it was able to read my internal drive as well as the 128GB Samsung SD card that I had inserted into the reader. I had previously copied a few video files to the drive and the xDisk app was able to play all of them (MP4, MKV, M4V, AVI). The connectors seem like they have a tight fit into the devices so I’m not worried about it falling out. The plugs are all protected by plastic covers but there’s nothing attaching the covers to the reader so there’s a risk that you can lose the covers. That shouldn’t be a big issue long term - I have an older reader that I lost the cover for years ago and it still works just fine. I haven’t tried using it to offload any of my pictures but I automatically sync them with multiple online services so I don’t know if I’ll use that feature. I can see it being useful if you take a lot of pictures and don’t have an internet connection to offload/back up, however. The big enhancement I'd like to see is integration with the iOS Files app. That would bump this to 5 stars for me.So far, I’m happy with my purchase.

I’ve been back and forth with the seller but thought I’d ask here too, anyone else not able to get your devices (phones/ipad/tablet) to register the SD card reader? Whenever I connect it to my device it doesn’t show up, I have followed all the instructions, I’ve tried finding the app the instructions say to download, but it doesn’t exist in the App Store and my phone is newer than the IOS13 that is says is compatible with- IOS13 and newer. So I’m just at a loss, I bought them for my family and thought they’d work and I can’t even get it to register the reader

I misplaced it in my house somewhere so I don't really know? I had a few problems trying to download my pictures on it I do remember that. Thx
