I was not paid nor offered any free items in exchange for this review. I purchased this dongle of my own free will and need.This dongle fits in the palm of your hand. Its design is a flat rectangle with a 6 inch cable that goes into a USB C port and it has a USB-C port for charging. On one side are 3 USB 3.0 ports and on the other is an HDMI out and on the opposite end of the USB-C cable is an Ethernet port. You can use the USB-C ports to connect cameras, USB powered drives, keyboards or a mouse. The HDMI port can be used to output video to a monitor or smart TV.I was able to connect the adapter to my Samsung S9 to read files from a USB flash drive while charging the phone. A dream come true an actual adapter that has OTG and charging. When I have to go to the hospital, I always have to choose; charge the phone fully and then watch a movie from the flash drive or copy huge files to my phone and be limited by the size of the SD card or phone’s storage. Now I can do both, bravo!!!!!Tested the HDMI by connecting the S9 to a spare 13” TV with HDMI input. Worked as expected, whatever was on the phone showed on the screen. I did not test the Ethernet port because I saw no real reason for it. My S9 (like at least 99% of today’s devices) has Wi-Fi and LTE. What reason would you have to connect the USB-C to Ethernet? But if you need it then you have it.After a few weeks of use, I would recommend this adapter as a complement to any device that has a USB-C port and you want to access files and charge your device.2 thumbs up.

Love this thing. I have an s8 plus and it is not a pleasant experience having no battery left just because you wanted to watch a movie. If i used an hdmi connector, battery drains and then i have to put phone in maximum battery save mode. Very annoying. Now i can watch Any media i have on my phones internal or external memory. Problem solved guys.I have also dropped this thing many times taking it with me wherever i go, keeps the girls happy, and it has proved to very sturdy and reliable. No problems as of a few months of abuse. Would definitley recommend to others and buy from seller again.

I've tried all the ports and it's been working amazing. It's also very portable and very slick-looking. I love how small it is and the color almost matches my laptop. It does not look cheap at all! I definitely recommend it!

This adapter is great! I've been ordering a few for people around my company and hadn't been hearing back about their experiences using these. I found this while looking for something to replace the standard Mac dongle. It appeared to have all the features I was looking for (extra USB 3 USB A ports, an HDMI output, and an ethernet port); the 5-star ratings on Amazon and the A rating from FakeSpot helped convince me I should give it a try. It has met all my expectations and works well as a basic docking station for MacBook Pros.Just be aware that it is not going to provide an extra HDMI output if your computer doesn't already support one. MacBook Pro: no problem. Asus ZenBook: probably not going to work the way you want it to. It also isn't running Thunderbolt 3 through the USB C connection (probably part of the reason why the price is reasonable), so don't plan to daisy chain off of it. The extra USB C port is only good for power, I believe.I'm a little surprised to see that shipping costs have been added in the week since I last ordered a couple of these. Maybe it's because of the holiday season; I'll wait until after the new year to order more, just in case. Even with $10 shipping it will be a pretty good price for a very functional dock for my many Mac users. I choose something more basic for my PC users.

With a MacBook Pro, it is crazy to have to buy all the seperate adapters. This Adapter is so nice to have access to anything you need accept for VGA.POSITIVES:- High quality build with aluminum material- Having multiple USB 3.0 ports to connect flash drives or external drives- Ability to connect to ethernet incase Wifi is down- 4K HDMI port which keep high quality video coming through- Having plug and play so you don't need any other software is great- Having an additional Type C USB port for charging of the computer- Quick data transmission- Works with multiple USB Type C devicesCONS:- Found no cons with this device
