I needed this book specifically for one of my college courses. It's bigger than you'd expect. However, unless you need this boom for an in-person class, I'd say go with the eBook instead. Though this isn't a bad purchase by any means.

The paper quality of the book is terrible, I can’t highlight or use pen to make notes as it leaks through the page to the other side. For the price you pay for books… ridiculous.And the book didnt come with the red/cyan glasses nor any login info for ISLE website, which you need to go through the book.Very disappointingOtherwise the information in this book is very thorough, science based, lots of concepts, end of chapter questions to answer, examples etc

This book has shown author biases from the very beginning, exemplified by anecdotes that are only relatable or understandable to those who maintain the same biases. For a psychology textbook, the automatically warrants a 1-star review. Furthermore, much of the content is unnecessarily long-winded where concise explanations are sufficient. A lot of chains of sentences that say the exact same thing in different words (helpful to a certain degree but not as it is carried out in this book). Finally, this book contains distractions on EVERY SINGLE PAGE. I purchased this book to read the content, not to read a sentence after every second paragraph telling me to check out the additional paid resource pack offered by the publisher. This book is painful to read and the authors should be embarrassed about their ineffective and biased writing.
