I purchased this air filter for my bedroom at my house. There has been one at my parents’ house for a while and it has been a big help in the downstairs room that the two cats stay in sometimes due to the weather. I have indoor only cats at my house and also have metal shelves in my room that have some kind of pressboard for the flat part. These boards put off a smell from time to time and it aggravates my sinuses. So because of that and the cats, I bought this air purifier. So far, it has done well. I have not noticed the wood smell anymore and the air seems fresher. My throat is not as dry and irritated as it had been. There are three levels. At night I run it on the lowest and it is fairly quiet and doesn’t interfere with me sleeping. I would recommend it. This is the second Miko my family has had and I will probably purchase another for my den area.

I bought this purifier 3.5 years ago for our unfinished 850sf dry basement to help with basement odor. Compact size and It was effective at helping with the basement odor and I could tell the difference if it was shut off for a day or more, as the stuffy odor would come back. Ran pretty quiet overall. The fan now makes an unbalanced rubbing noise so I am looking to replace it. No issues up until now and I ran it almost 24 hours a day for 3.5years. The filters were about $25 to replace every few months. May consider buying again possibly after researching what else is out there now for comparison.

I got up early this morning to start my housework and got to changing my air filters. BUT I stopped and sat down to immediately create this review. Please look at the picture and short video. THIS AIR PURIFIER IS SERIOUS YALL! Look at the filter and how nasty it is! I was actually shocked. I mean, it always has been nasty when I change the filters but let me tell you… I’m showing this to my apartment manager. I don’t live in filth but was shocked (and amazed) at how well this Miko air purifier works at pulling dirt, dust, cat hair, etc… Also, I’m a non-smoker so that isn’t why this is black. But anyhoo… I really wanted to let you all know in case you’re interested in a good product.I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 cats. I needed an air purifier that was small but big enough to handle the job. I bought the first Miko and it worked so well, I bought a 2nd. I’ve had them for about 2 years now and still working great! Sorry for my babbling. I just really wanted to share this right away and give a shout out to Miko!Also… I was not encouraged, asked or paid for my review. ☺️

My elderly mother lives with me, she suffers old age mental issues.she seems to have forgotten what bathrooms are for, so she goes where she sleeps, I have all the disposable bed pads, clean and disinfect daily, but I noticed when I would walk back in the door from errands I would get hit in the nose by stink, I have spent hundreds of dollars on cleaners, candles, solid air fresheners, air freshener sponges, bamboo bags, 24 hours of relief if that much. One day a repairman came to my home, I explained to him that if you smell urine, it's my elderly mother, I was telling him of all the different products I've tried, he suggested I get an air purifier, that one never crossed my mind, so off I go to Amazon after he leaves. I found a few did a little research between reviews, Google and YouTube, I settled on the Miko purifier, now I must say, I wasn't to happy with my choice for a few days as the horrible smell was still meeting me at the front door, I had the purifier right next to my mother's bed and the odor, so I thought let's pack it up and send back to Amazon, then something told me to move it up a little higher than where I had placed it...and WAA-LAA!...no morestinky, besides the germs that probably were floating around my biggest fear is for someone to walk into my home stinking.So yes, it helped me in numerous ways. I'll describe it in baby terms...It rolled over, I said uh oh...it started to crawl I said okay...then it walked, meaning it's working.. then I said YEA!!. Just imagine how it would work in a home that doesn't smell like a convalescent home.P.S. No longer smells like nursing home.😁
