Wireless Security Camera System,Firstrend 8CH 1080P Wireless NVR System with 8PCS 1080P HD IP Security Camera with 65FT Night Vision Easy Remote View P2P CCTV System 3TB Hard Drive Installed

I purchased the 8 camera system for my house. Read the reviews, and thought it would be a good system. I was wrong. I went through the process of installing the cameras, and luckily I was sceptical enough to run extension cords to the cameras to check to them out. The cameras freeze A LOT. The cameras randomly loose the signal. I went through the process of moving the main station to different locations within the house hoping that the cameras being closer the the antennas would improve the signal. Only worked on some of the cameras. I don't have a huge house, so I'm assuming the transmitters in the cameras just aren't that good. I'm boxing it up for a return. Tech support was good, they did try and work out the problems, but to no avail. Look into another system. I might be fine for indoors, but not for what I need

CRAP CRAP CRAP, 3TB HD did not even make it a year before it went out and is nondiscoverable , the wireless is a joke you need to purchase different antennas for them to go 60'.For the cost, go to a different camera set!Night vision only sees about 15' out, tech support is a joke, dont know what it means by thickness.

I got the 8 camera system and the hard drive doesn't work with the system. It will not format, I even took it to a computer specialist who cannot get it to recognize and format the hard drive. I have contacted customer service (which let me tell you totally SUCKS) via email and phone call and I have not for almost a month gotten a response from them. I would never order a thing from this company one there stuff does not work and 2 the customer service is horrible. I now paid alot of money for 8 cameras that dont work and are useless.

the camera system is great for the price. very good product and tech support was awesome.

I purchased this product plus five fifteen foot power cables 18 AWG and two each thirty foot 18 AWG Power Cables. Make sure you do not purchase a cable with a larger number such as 22 AWG. The large the AWG number the thinner the wire and the you will probably have issues.Once i got the box in, i hooked it up on the floor and then to a computer monitor. Everything worked great. Just plugged the power cables to the cameras and Recorder and BOOM all came on. The pictures of each camera is really awesome and that night with all still on the floor the night pictures resolution was way beyond what i thought it would be. I mounted the cameras over the next two days and now have a 360 degree view of my property. I can't speak highly enough of the resolution of the day and night pictures. I got a HDMI cable and plugged the unit into my Vizio TV and it came right upon the screen. Everything is so simple. Now my next step is to program each camera and start filling my way around the setup screen. You can set the color of each camera, the sensitivity of the motion detectors, the volume of each camera plus record and set times etc. I have not got that far yet with set up. That comes next weekend when i mount the last two cameras. I also need to run the network cable to the router so i can set up the phones to view it. I will write another review when i get that far but all in all, so far this is an awesome system and i am very satisfied so far with the Firstrend 8 channel NVR system. I just hope when i need support that it is as others say, helpful.
