The picture on this item show Bairpaws, the item delivered is Bear Huggers. Very deceptive. I bought a carton and was disappointed at the quality compared to Bairpaws. You should know this if you are buying this item.

I was introduced to these while in the hospital for cancer surgery. These are the warmest, softest and best traction you will ever find on a sock. My only regret when I ordered these, was that I had to order the XL size because their standard size is unavailable. I waited a month hoping they would get the standard size in stock before I ordered the XL.

I got a pair of these Bair Paws booties in the hospital before surgery (same purple color). Bair Paws' main product is a disposable hospital gown that wraps all the way around. It's double layered and the nurses pump warm air between the layers before you go into surgery. The booties are like a bonus product to go with the warming gown. I have worn them a lot around the house since the surgery; they keep my feet warm, don't twist around in a weird way, and haven't developed any holes or worn spots. The white paw design is a non-slip feature. Also, I have a bit of water retention in my lower leg, and these have non-binding tops, so they are comfortable no matter how many hours you wear them. I'd like to buy them in smaller packages. Sometimes an auction site will have a 3-pack but not the right size for me, and believe it or not, they sell USED ones! :-( I highly recommend Bair Paws booties.

Beware ! ... The socks in the picture are NOT the ones you will receive ! They ones we got were half the size of the actual socks (a pair of which we already had...) Very disappointing...
