I probably bought 4 of these. They are very cute to watch, but I think I enjoyed it more than my cat. He seemed annoyed by it. He kept knocking it over on its side or upside down and then was annoyed by the buzzing noise. They toy does try to right itself and turn back onto its legs. It's successful about 50% of the time, if it's not along the carpet or beside a piece of furniture. (Needless to say, this toy does not work on carpet.) I spent a lot of time retrieving it from behind and under furniture. It has a pretty long battery life, but the batteries are not-replaceable. Anyway, my cat had an annoying habit of knocking it into unretrievable places where I couldn't find it, and the toy either disappeared for good or the battery ran out. The last one went in back of my kitchen cabinetry, and I decided that was the end of this experiment. But they are very cute to watch.

My cat loves to play with these little bugs. They are designed to run around in circles and flip themselves back over when they get tossed on their back, and they do a great job at these tasks. They seem to be quite chomp-resistant as well in case you're worried about safety.They do get lost under furniture (though they can find their way out from behind a couch etc. as long as they run into a wall, which will straighten their path) and you'll have to fish them out from under your fridge manually when they get stuck and start making sad little noises. We've run through one battery each on two bugs, but they come with two so you can replace them.

My cat loves these. Agreed that they don't work on carpet. We have wood floors, and the do good on them. When we turn it on, his ears perk up and he comes even if he's across the room. We have oval area rugs and these will follow along the perimeter like a racetrack. Great fun for cat and owner.

Cat really enjoyed chasing them around the house. One of them worked well and buzzed around the floor, the other just spun in circles. Warning, they will get stuck under your refrigerator and the noise will make you nuts until you get it back out.

My cats love the nano robot bug! It's smaller than I expected.

After a few weeks, the cats still seems to enjoy chasing these as if they were a new toy. Caution! They are small —-not recommended use in a home with small children or dogs that would eat them.

My cat is obsessed with this toy. It is somewhat small though so he's only allowed to play with it when I'm around because he tries to put it in his mouth and I don't want him choking. Awesome toy!
