International VRB-2705BU 27-Inch 5 Drawer Blue Toolbox with Ball Bearing Drawer Slides

I own 6 of the old heavy Craftsman red cabinets. This purchase is equivalent. I'm not using it for heavy tools, but i suspect it would hold up well. The finish is excellent, and it arrived in a heavy shipping box. The drawers are full extension. I would order again if needed.AY

Before I get into the current issue: My company has a few of these International Tool Cabinets in their training room and they are decent quality for their purpose. I decided to get one for where I would be working. Like the design and size of these for the work I will be performing. The units I messed with were bought from a box store and not online. Maybe I should have gone this route, but cost was what I based my decision on for where I bought from. Guess I know better now...------ On to what arrived today (10 Nov 2017) ------My excitement was shattered when I opened the box after the UPS driver dropped this tool chest off. While the box looked "okay", the tool cabinet was another story. There are visible signs this unit had something either set on it, or was dropped. the top edges are crushed in, and the drawers will not stay in their locations.I can not tell if this damage is from shipping, in which case this would be an issue with UPS, or something at the manufacturer happened and the damage was not caught. Either way this is not a situation I wanted to be in. Currently working on replacement options with Amazon. I will give one chance to get a decent replacement, however, if the next one is damaged. It's a return...Leaving 1 Star for now but will update if the new one is not damaged.----- Replacement Arrived...Damaged (17 Nov 2017) -----Should not be surprised but was hoping for a happy outcome. Sadly the replacement was also damaged. Have to blame it partially on shipping as the box was sitting on my front porch with the "This Side Up" Arrows facing the ground. Also have to blame the packaging since nothing really covers the edges in the box and there is no support inside to keep any weight from crushing the box inside. I am returning this item and going elsewhere(in town), Too much of a hassle to deal with this anymore.

Arrived via FedEx Freight. Accidentally ordered to the wrong address (work not home) and worked with pleasant Amazon support in rerouting the shipment however in the end they could not help me fix my error and it arrived at work. Well packaged, no shipping damage. Higher quality ball bearings than the regular cheap boxes. Comes with protective inserts as a bonus. I cut a custom oak top that finishes the box nicely and give me some extra work area. Made in Canada.Half a star off for not being able to reroute the shipment (however, yay for free Prime shipping), another half a star off for the top drawer sometimes coming loose from the ball bearing rail clamp. I will have to find a way to permanently fix this.Overall still better value for money than the local home improvement places with their overpriced lower quality tool boxes.

I LOVE my tool box. I had tools all over my house and finally got them organized. I labeled all the drawers and now everything is really easy to find. Reduced my stress level every time I needed a screwdriver or hammer. Very well made - would highly recommend this item.

Total waste of money!! Poorly made very light duty. Showed up all 4 corners smashed in and all the drawers broke off the tracks!!! Amazon makes you rate this with the stars so it shows 1 star but this product is negative 5 stars!!!!

just got done assembling the chest, so this review is based on initial impression and assembly. The chest is nice looking, well finished, the drawers all slide smoothly.- so that's the good. However, assembly is not so easy. The roller wheels attached ok, but the side push handle was quite the struggle as the pre-drilled holes were about 1/64th an inch off. The lock is a bit tricky; you have to give each drawer a good snug push, otherwise locking is hit or miss.

I was pleasantly surprised. I came well packaged with all the required parts and pieces. Minimal assembly required and what was required was easy to do. The manufacturer supplied draw liners are of a decent quality and function well. Very sturdy construction and flawless paint.

I don't review often, but every once in a while a product comes along that just makes you scratch your head. I'm not sure if it was damaged in shipping but this piece came with all of the drawers having fallen off their tracks and most of the tracks having come out of the cabinet. I spent more than an hour and a half trying to fix it, but every time I opened a drawer, the track would fall off the cabinet. There seemed to be no way to get it to work. After finally getting the whole thing together, I hoped that now that it was all together, it would somehow hold together, but the first drawer fell off the tracks and I gave up. Thank goodness Amazon issued a refund. DO NOT BUY THIS GARGAGE
