Great hair accent piece! To do half up dos I used a small rubber band first to make sure i could place the hair slide. And low ponytail had to use a hairtie first cuz it won’t hold All my hair. I also used just the pin for a half up bun which worked great. Over all I’m pleased with this purchase. (Please ignore my creaked mirror and coffee pjs. I couldn’t wait to try out some hairstyles)

There is not a lot of space for your hair, and would really only work as a decoration for your hair above an elastic ponytail holder. It is terribly heavy also, and there is no "give" to it, as it is metal. I would like to recommend a leather barette in the same type - slide hairpins - if you are looking for something more comfortable and practical. This metal one is just too heavy. Decoration is nice, but since I cannot wear it, it is being returned.

It can only hold a tiny amount of hair. I have fine hair, and this is not able to secure a half-ponytail. Also, the curls in the design always catch and pull on my hair. I tried using it several different ways, and even when taking it out immediately after brushing/pinning the hair it was very painful to take off. And even though it was an Amazon prime purchase, I can't return it - which I've never seen happen. Steer clear of this product!

I like the look of this very much. It is smallish. When it arrived it had been squished to almost flat. (It is bendable) I just bent it back into shape, easy. But there is no pin to secure it in your hair. Before I purchased this I read some reviews, and this had happened to other people, but I thought it would not happen again. It did. I don’t have the ability to return it from home, and I would be risking a lot going out. It’s not worth it.

First .. I want to say, I only gave it a low rating, so people would actually read it. It is a lovely item, and I love it. There is nothing wrong with it, but I have very thin hair, and the item has a little weight to it. Not excessive mind you, but I would not recommend it for thin hair. If your hair is normal to thick, it would be a very nice piece to have.

It’s absolutely beautiful! I love it so much, the tree of life design is stunning and intricate and delicate but sturdy! It’s a bit heavy but not more than my hair could handle. However, I genuinely do not have enough hair to fit in it. The curve of it is too much to fit my hair. I have rather thick hair but my hair is only long enough to get the top half in it and it does not fit the dramatic curve of the piece. I’m going to try flattening it but then I worry the pin will no longer fit. May take some jerryrigging but I’m willing to do what it takes to use the beautiful hair piece

It was a little flatter than I expected, probably due to shipping. I gently squeezed it, and it will now cover a pony tail elastic. Very nice looking. If your hair is thick, push the stick through the middle of your pony tail.

I wanted to cancel my order after one day because the delivery time wasn’t till next 10 days after my order time. I received an email that you can’t cancel the order but you receive the item you can return it. Now I have the item bad quality not even close to picture.... also it’s not eligible for return!!!!!
