Q: Is this good for extremely dry mature skin? my face feels like sand paper

It’s very good. The night cream is richer than the day cream but if my skin is especially dry I will use the night cream during the day.

Q: Is this product hypoallergenic?

Yes, but I would have to say there is a very, very small percentage of users that do have a reaction. Maybe one or two customers in the USA in a year. Limited to redness on the face.
