Great for kids!
I bought 3 writing tablets for my kids Christmas stockings this year. I bought this one for my 2 year old and two of the 4.5 inch Boogie Board Jots for my older kids since they have more control with their writing and drawing. I like the Newyes writing tablet much better!!It's very light, the magnets are nice for refrigerator mounting, the writing is colorful and crisp and the battery is replaceable (you can't replace the battery on the Boogie Boards, I wasn't aware of this till I had already bought them) which is a huge plus for me! Also included was a lanyard for the pen, some fun little Christmas stickers and an extended 6 months warranty!My 2 year old has a reputation for taking his artwork to the walls and furniture so mess free coloring is a life saver and it's perfect for on the go. I'm very pleased with this purchase. Will update if anything changes.

Fun for all!
It was a hit even with the adults! This was a gift for my 5 year old cousin and he LOVED it. This was the one gift he pulled out to play with right then and on his car ride home! It had a nice little soft case. It is very thin and has a double sided stylus pen attached. The writing was pretty bright (kind of a green chalk board color) Red was the Birthday boy's favorite color so I went with this one but his dad said he might have to get one for the fridge! (there are magnets on the back to allow it to stick to metal) Overall good product for the price!

Light weight and Bright
Great so far especially compared to many others. This is super thin and weighs practically nothing. Has magnets for fridge mounting. The contrast is very good and easy to read. Would buy again

Good alternative to overpriced boogie boards for kids
Nice product! I love the lock button to keep your screen from erasing. I bought this for my almost 2 year old so that feature is awesome! It’s cheaper then the boogie boards and you can feel it in the plastic but so far it’s held up to my daughter playing with it. The screen shows up the colour as well as the boogie boards do. I like the cloth sleeve it came with and that the battery is replaceable. If newyes would come out with child specific content that would be great! Overall I would recommend this product.

TIP: Lock switch-if it’s in the locked position the erase button will not erase the screen.
Bought for my sons 5th bday, his sister has another brand. It’s very bright seeing as it doesn’t have a light screen. Very durable, has been dropped quite a few times without damage.TIP: there’s an unlock/lock switch on the side. You will need to switch it to unlocked position to erase the screen. This is a handy little feature, other brand did not have this. If you use it to quickly write down a number, list, or any important information, instead of scratch paper, it will keep it “saved” so the erase button is enabled. You won’t accidentally loose the info you just wrote down.To erase the screen when ready, just slide the switch and press the circle button on the bottom of the tablet.This has saved us many pieces of paper, thus saving trees! It has also saved mommy’s sanity, as we let him use it in the car or while waiting at places. It keeps him very entertained, as it is an open ended “toy” I love that he can be creative and his face isn’t glued to an electronic screen.This is a must buy for any age, I would highly recommend this product and I will purchase again.I might get one for myself!

Kids love it, and I love the case!
Got one in each color for the kids to take to church. They love them! They love that they can make it lock so their little brother can't push the button. It keeps them entertained the whole time we're there, and keeps them quiet. It does have a little glitch right after clearing the screen... If you start drawing right after you've pushed the button to clear, it doesn't draw right away. You have to wait a couple of seconds before drawing again. But it doesn't bother the kids, so it doesn't bother me!They love that it has the magnets on the back so they can display their drawings on the fridge. They are very lightweight, but even the 2-year-old's has held up to constant use the past month! We had one that came with a dead battery, and it was very easy to replace.I absolutely love the carrying case it comes with. We marked each one with a sharpie marker, coloring the logo with a different color to match the pad.I like that the pen has a place to clip it. We have a booggie boardI had searched for different pads and am so glad I found this one with the case for just a few dollars more than a pad only. The cases themselves were selling around $7-14 each! So this was a great bargain! Definitely would recommend!

Great for all kids, artists or list makers
I originally bought a regular LED pad from NewYes website. Absolutely loved it. Noticed they actually sold on amazon through prime which means fast and free delivery and so I decided to get a kids one for my daughter. She absolutely loves the different colors it makes. It came with a tie for the pen so thankfully she won’t lose it. It has magnets on the back so you can put it on the fridge for coloring or even grocery list. I love it and they are surprisingly cheap. I want to replace all the white boards with it. Environmentally friendly too.

Works as expected
This works great in regular light. You can see it very well. Even in dim light whatever your write or draw is still visible, just not as bright. I have it stuck to my fridge with the magnets built into the back. It's so light and the magnets are more than strong enough to hold it up.The pen has 2 sides that are supposed to be thin and thick I think. There isn't much different between the two sides though. You get really nice crisp lines when writing on this. I have never tried more expensive units so I can't do a comparison but this works great for me.Overall for the price(I got the pink one because it was much cheaper at the time) this is a great product. I expect the battery to last a long time because it is only used to clear the screen. Speaking of that, there is a lock switch on the bottom that prevents you from clearing the screen by accident or on purpose if you don't know it's there.

Never use paper notes again
What a excellent invention that is. I had mixed feelings about this item because I thought it is to good to be truth. I thought it's going to be gimmicky to write anything on it and then erase it and all but it's completely opposite. It's ready to use straight out of the box. Pen is very responsive and accurate. Erase button works every time you press it. Thanks to this magic device I will never have to use paper notes. Money well spent, thanks!**Tip: if erase button don't work your lock button is on. Just switch it to unlocked and that's you sorted.**
