Taste

Easily one of the best albums of 2016. Filled with great lyrics and catchy tunes, Islands manages to make an album full of social commentary that is as powerful as it's synthesizers. Nick's wordplay continues in this album, and it is as good as ever. Quite possibly the best Islands album, while not the expansive Return to the Sea, concise and amazing.

Islands is making music on a level I didn't think was possible. Indie synth rock? Is that what it's called? All I know is I can't/won't stop listening.

This album totally caught me off guard as I wasn't sure what to expect, but not in a bad way. Very synthy, very awesome, and very hard to stop listening to.
